The majority I've seen has been praising McIntyre's run. While I've seen others are not enjoying Braun's as much. So I thought I'd ask. Personally I like the idea, especially now with the limited rosters. And we don't have solo brand PPVS anymore.
IMO this would give us ONE definitive WWE champion and it's open up the amount of credible contenders. If someone from RAW like McIntyre was able to defend the title on both shows, we'd be able to see Drew vs Braun, Bray, Roman, AJ, & Sheamus. Then when you include contenders from RAW like Lashley, Rollins, & Orton, we'd have a whole years worth of fresh match ups.
The IC & US title both got makeovers, so both would get a boost as well from this.
Just a thought.

I have always thought it should just be 1 world champion so I'm in favor of it

I like 1 title. I thought the Undisputed Champion in 2002 worked best and also made them special because they could appear on both shows.

Rosters are WAY too big.

At this point, yes. They've proven with Lesnar as champion that they don't always need the top belt on the shows each week.

If the two brands are truly distinct, they each need their own champion. I know that most of the time one champion feels more of a "main" champion than the other, but a second world title is a mechanism for establishing a new star while still having a top name in that position. Plus, I feel like MITB is more reasonable when there are two titles because there's more booking flexibility. If there's a single world title, the MITB has to be booked a lot tighter and have more planning, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Yes and no. I like the idea of having one champion and that champion being able to be on both shows each week. However I think there's way too many wrestlers on the roster to do it. The rosters may be somewhat limited now, but even still there's a lot of people.

No
I hated the 2014-2016 era of the World Title. I've always been in favour of two champions. One for each brand, with their own contenders & storylines. Even right now, the roster's are way too big for just one title.
But, i'd be all for unifying the Tag Titles again.

I know I'm in the minority bit I always hated the champion being allowed on both shows. The rules just seem to get made up along the way. Obviously the Corona era is a completely different time, but the women's tag titles being on any show they want has (kind of) lead to Smackdown's Sasha Banks becoming Raw women's champion. There's no consistency.
For me, the only time anyone should be on another brand is those rare occasions to hype up interpromotional matches for Wrestlania, Summerslam or maybe Survivor Series.

Doesn't matter. Their titles don't really mean anything anymore.

I'd rather them just continue with how they're doing it instead of changing it every 5 years either way. keep things the same for at least 10 years.

A wrestling promotion should have 1 main title that puts the champion at the top of the ladder.
The tag titles should be unified as well.

no. i like champions on both brands. each show has its own storylines and superstars. there should be big matches available on both shows, titles are big no matter what anyone says. things should stay the way they are from this point forward. there is enough talent in the company and enough time during the week to showcase champions. i dont need to see one champion on both shows, thats silly and a waste of talent time

I would love to see the Champion hold 3 Championship Title Belts. The black strap around the waist, the red strap on the right shoulder, and the blue strap on the left shoulder.

Agreed, really should be only one set of title and no brand split. However if they have a hard on for it which is obvious as this is their 3rd go around for it should be one set of titles in terms of the WWE Title,WWE Tag Team Titles & Women's Title where those three championship and champions can appear and have to appear on both brand. If you want to be the champion of a division you have to earn it and and fight to keep it.Then do away with the IC/US Title and have each brand have and exclusive title(basically a mid to upper mid card title) like a RAW Champion & Smackdown Champion.

I've always liked the idea of having 1 champion, but with split shows it doesn't work. I remember when the champion was on both shows back in 2002 and there were too many guys just waiting around with nothing to do.

Nah. With two titles, you can put one on a big star who only wrestles a few times a year, and you still have one for the PPVs in between.
And if the title is on someone like McIntyre or Braun, it gets awkward trying to have them in feuds on both shows.
Essentially, each show having its own big belt provides focus. Currently, they’re not really doing authority figure storylines, just occasionally someone will pop up for a Jack Tunney announcement. I don’t trust the creativity there for top feuds without a title or authority figure story.

The roster's just too goddamn big to have only one world title.
Two world titles (technically four, if you wanna count NXT and NXT UK) with a roster the size of WWE's is much better as it allows for more stories and less clogged title scenes.

One World Champion yes, unify no. The Universal Title has been a joke since day 2 with no meaning just dump it.
These should be the only titles:
WWE Champ IC Champ Tag Champs Women’s Champ
NXT should have sort of a KOTR trophy winner each year that’s it. Those stars needs to worry about more than the strap.
To those who are saying too many stars, that’s just a talking point created on these very boards. I remember the good ole days of RAW when they’d show the champion walking backstage before a commercial break and jr and king would express how important it was that “the Champ” was in the building! Now everyone has a title.
Minimal champions has a twofold effect; 1. Prestige and honor that there is a champion in the building or a title on the line at a ppv 2. Non title story lines would have to evolve
I’m so sick of every time there is a title change every star including the kayfabe nemesis run to social media to praise the new Champ.
Think back to the day of all the amazing superstars that never had a title. They didn’t need one! These days every Tom, dick, and Seth are 15x grand slam champion!

No need to unify the titles, if you’re trying to keep a legit brand split. The whole point of a brand split is to try and create your own competition. It would be kinda hard competing against a show, if you’re working with them by having inter-brand feuds.
Two titles helps shows who’s the face of both brands. Yes I know that it doesn’t work all the time because Bill Goldberg was the Universal Champion. But you can’t tell me that Bray Wyatt wasn’t the main event focal point of SmackDown when he was champion. Same with Seth Rollins before and Strowman now.
Granted I don’t watch much WWE anymore so I might be mistaken on the Strowman being a main focal point, but from what I’ve seen, his storyline is.
