Reading as many of you suggesting Roman should be leader of "Retribution" instead of "Retribution" is horrible and the angle should vanish quickly makes me sad. I have always maintained my honest digust for how they've been depicted. Back when I first hypothesized Reigns could be the ringleader, I thought to myself if seeing the realization of my 5-year desire was worth this garbage, and I'm still not sure it is. Just for the record. ANTIFAke is a "heel" group and if Vince wouldn't turn Roman prior to this, I can't see him doing it now.

The show was good and I enjoyed the matches but what was with Roman's teeth, hot damn he look like Ross Geller from Friends with those chompers and what was going on with Mandy Rose and her attire, hot damn I've never seen so much Camel Toe on WWE tv/ppv.

I enjoyed the show. It's the first show to feel semi-"real" since the whole pandemic hit, and I thought it was more enjoyable for it. I'm all in on the ThunderDome, virtual fans, and piped in crowd noise if this is what it gets me.
I missed the pre-show and the opening match, but I'm glad Bayley retained. I'm interested to see her and Sasha feud if the roles are reversed and Bayley is playing the heel this time out. Tag match didn't do much for me. I'd have liked Andrade and Garza to get the win, but they didn't, so it is what it is. I thought Mandy vs. Sonya was a real standout. This was the first match that caught my attention fully, and I really enjoyed it. Dominik Mysterio and Pat McAfee shattering expectations for the weekend is just more 2020 business, but I loved this match. Good storytelling, and pretty impressive stuff from Dom for his first go at it. I feel like the end of Asuka/Sasha didn't quite vibe with the story the commentary team was trying to pitch, but whatever. Still a good match. I kinda lost my wind during the two top tier matches upon hearing that a singer I quite like suddenly passed, but I'm pleased with the overall results, and seeing Roman back was a welcome surprise. I'm a Roman fan, and I'm ready to see him back in the title picture.
EDIT: If nobody pointed it out, I'd never know anything was up with Roman's teeth. Y'all weird.

Ok show for me. I haven’t watched a full show in a few months. So I was pretty blind going in outside of what I’ve kept up with on instagram.
I really enjoyed the storytelling in the Rollins match the most. His gear was amazing and that really set the story tone for Rollins as the antagonist. I actually thought it was probably the best worked match on the card too, at least from an entertainment standpoint. So tons of credit for making what is a novice look pro in that environment.
Thought Drew vs Orton was good, but I hate “that’s it” endings. Two really talented guys, in an engaging feud, who got cutoff by the need for the feud to keep going. I think there are ways to do “roll up” style finishes that don’t look as slow as stuff like a backslide.
I was somewhat excited for the hair vs hair match, but circumstances obviously changed that one. I think Sonya seemed checked out, not judgment but just how it seemed, and Mandy still has her work rate issues, those tables are tricky. I can appreciate the attempt to give it a happy ending with Otis, but that one just didn’t hit the mark for me.
Not much else I cared about one way or the other. Lots of characters I’m totally indifferent towards, unfortunately.

I love how he hit the guy who didn’t even push him lol Punk fighting someone who can’t fight back, huh.. Which is funny because based on what we saw Punk do in the cage, the guy would have likely kicked the living sh*t out of him if he had fought back.

The whole thing really shook her up, people think she will be back, but it’s not guarantee.

I've heard people bring up Nexus and I think that's a completely different thing. They were a "wrestling faction" coming in to take over. They made that very clear from the very start. Retribution on the other hand? Burning cars? Breaking sh*t. Screwing with the audio/video. Ruining shows. Attacking and assaulting people. Regardless of where it goes, the origin story here has already killed it for me with it's complete and utter lack of logic. No matter what happens. No matter who they are. No matter who their leader is. I saw the post in here earlier with the Wrestling Observer guy calling out the fact that they were given a platform on the show. That's the exact kind of WTF I'm talking about? Why would VINCENT KENNEDY McMAHON of all people allow that? It begins and ends right there for me. I'm not interested in hearing people give it a pass because "it's wrestling, or it's WWE, or it's Vince." So what? The company is putting nonsense on TV and people are accepting it, and making excuses for it. These guys were in the ring with Braun and the Fiend. Main Eventers. Retribution is being given a main event rub while making zero sense. I don't want that, and I certainly don't want WWE to think this can be the norm. I've never gone to a movie I've been looking forward to, been let down by lazy writing, and then just shrugged it off and said, "oh well it's just a movie?" Just because it's not real doesn't mean they don't even have to try. Wrestling is a carny world. They "react" to what's going on in that world. Vince's reaction to Retribution wouldn't be to give them air time after/while they're destroying his business and costing him money. It's beyond illogical. HOWEVER. I'll also add that I will take ALL OF THAT back if somehow Vince ends up being behind Retribution. Those chips could fall into place and explain things from a story standpoint. That's my opinion as a fan. As far as real world issues go, it's a stupid angle all together. THAT'S going on in America right now. Sounds like an example of Vince thinking he's got his "finger on the pulse" again. People are dying. People are losing everything. Why he thinks it's a good idea, I don't know. Braun picks up Alexa Bliss and throws her and they turn off the lights so we don't see a man hurting a woman, but having people set fires and assaulting "innocent"people is cool. Vince, Vince, Vince.........

Ugh, he should've stayed away longer... honestly, he's not been missed one bit - largely, because he has no star quality to miss. Now they're going to feed the Fiend to this fool. Oh, and nice rip-off of Stone Cold's 'Arrive. Raise Hell. Leave' shirt... Pity Reigns is nothing at all like Austin - and never will be. Should have Been CM Punk and Charlotte returning as a dominant duo who takeover the company.

I liked the ending of Drew and Orton. Orton never saw that roll up coming! I miss matches that don't end in a finisher. It's a nice surprise. I'm not a Roman fan but even I know it will be a good thing for the company. Anyone thinking that Roman isn't "over" has no clue at all.

Vince's reaction to Retribution wouldn't be to give them air time after/while they're destroying his business and costing him money. It's been his reaction pretty much every other time a faction or superstar has been disruptive - whether they were "employed" at the time or not: Austin most weeks during their feud... The WCW/ECW invasion... Matt Hardy's return in 2005... Nexus... John Cena after he got fired because of Nexus... Pipebomb CM Punk... Awesome Truth... Ronda Rousey... Becky Lynch... It's no more illogical now than it has been for the last twenty-something years.

I miss matches that don't end in a finisher. You must not have been watching much WWE in recent years, this is the era of the roll up/backslide, it is deadly.

I love how Roman returned. It wasn't advertised, hyped for weeks or leaked, he just crashed onto the scene at the end and unleashed havoc on both guys.
This is how Roman should've been from the start.

It's no more illogical now than it has been for the last twenty-something years. And you think those are comparable with what you're seeing happening now with Retribution? Vince will call the cops on Steve Austin, but not on a group of random people burning his property and assaulting his employees? Having a group come in and attack wrestlers or call out wrestlers makes sense. Retribution didn't show up and attack wrestlers though. They essentially attacked Vince McMahon. They burned and broke his sh*t. They attacked his backstage crew and they tried to ruin his shows. Vince did nothing? Stephanie did nothing? HHH did nothing? Really? I agree that there are things today as illogical as they were in the past, but I didn't give them a pass back then either. I think wrestling was better 20 years ago, but I could still give you a laundry list of things I thought were flat out horrible. Bad writing is bad writing regardless of the era.

So, basically, Lazy Lee phoned it in at TO, because he knew he was dropping the belt and going to RAW - thus making Kross look bad in the process... How unprofessional. Nah. Kross just sucks. I wouldn’t say he’s sucks, but he’s definitely not ready for that spot at all. Just feels like a bad decision to me especially when you’re trying to make NXT a new brand

I really haven't watched much in a long while. I usually watch the PPV on my phone on silent while I'm doing other things.
