I really want to like this set. I'm just not there. I dont buy current product figures only 80s and early 90s guys. The segments have been one of my favorite things on the show in years. I'm just not seeing what I wish it was.
I would have preferred it be a plastic backdrop with real hinged door. I would have made the puppets actual mini figures like Rocco. Good quality not painted rubber. The problems with bray have been covered extensively. No gloves? No collar? Etc.
I just don't know how cool it would look set up on a desk. I also don't want to regret missing it if it goes up in price.
Torn. Heal? Hurt?

Other elite Bray Wyatt legs might work? Those are Bray’s elite legs, aren’t they? Unless you mean the black leather pants with the zippers. Well any of his previous elites, some of them may be more accurate though |

this is insulting to even look at as acceptable. its like they said eh they'll buy it regardless so lets not even try.it kind of reminds me of thr very end of the jakks line when they'll didnt care anymore.
the only thing good about this set is the packaging.
the puppets are cook but 3x the size they should be.
brays sweater is tight but painting a torso red dosnt resemble a sweater at all lol. bray wears tighter fitting black jeans or khaki colored jeans. they said screw it we'll give him loose fitting maternity pants.
id say i hope this set sells extremely poorly so they realize that they cant put garbage like this out. sadly a lot of people will defend it somehow and buy it anyway

It’s the number one seller on ringside so that tells me that bray is money right now, gotta say I did preorder this mainly because of the puppets and the display and the fiend.

Y'all do realize they are sized that way so that they fit on Bray's HANDS? Right? You realized that RIGHT? They are actual puppets!
Also, about the attire. Sadly, we should all know by now how Bill feels about straight re-makes. he isn't a fan, neither is AFA, and honestly, the true issue here is that the Basic Bray and the RSC Bray attires aren't switched. But now we know that this was a legit attire from a show. It may be a one-off, but again, STRAIGHT REMAKES ARE USUALLY A NO-GO (unless there's a fan poll involved)
Finally, seeing the box and loose images tell me why they left off Huskus. two reasons. 1. There wasn't room in the box, and 2. I don't think it would have worked with the actual puppet mechanic. IIRC, Huskus actually has legs.
All in all, I don't see why everyone is so virulently upset about this figure. True, the figure itself isn't the best. The arms are definitely too small. But besides that, everything here makes sense within the methods of Mattel. Yes the figure itself is cheap. You guys wanted puppets, you got puppets. If you wanted puppets AND a perfect figure, this set would cost closer to 50 dollars, not 28. Figures don't occur in a vacuum. There's other issues involved in creating and producing them. This is the best they could do with what they had and still make it reasonable for everyone to acquire.
I, for one, am absolutely buying it. When I get paid, preorder is happening.

It takes a lot, in comparison to most people, for me to be negative about a figure. And generally if there’s something I don’t like about a figure I won’t buy it. Not gonna bash it, might say what I don’t like, but not gonna harp on it. When they showed this Bray on the reveals I didn’t like how it looked. My first thought was, maybe something I won’t feel like I need to get. On the other hand I’m MOC so if it has puppets and a cool box, maybe it won’t be too bad all together. Turns out they remove the belly button, and while it’s not great it’s certainly not terrible given all the puppets they have to pay for to make this. Most likely, I’ll order it. Odds are, we’ll get a FFH Bray release down the road that looks much better.

I agree with many of your points. BUT you never see Bray manipulating the puppets. Its more like pee wees playhouse where he sees the characters move on their own and interacts with them. He's not supposed to be a puppeteer so seeing him with them on his hands looks weird. I think most people are upset because it wasn't as good as they were expecting for such a cool piece of wwe current product. I would have rather seen plastic mini figures that stand on their own and a plastic set with a hinging door. That would be the set. |

Does anyone else think that Huskus will be an accessory with a Muscle Man Bray figure?
In defense of this fig, Bray has been rocking the red, collarless shirt pretty consistently lately.
