I wonder which legend woman figure is coming?! Torrie, Terri, Ivory, Jacqueline, Luna or Molly Holly? I’m thinking Torrie! Hopefully Sable.

Terri was planned to be in a 2-pack with Goldust, but that got cancelled when Goldust left. I would assume she is one of them. I think the other will be a Mighty Molly to go with Hurricane.

Saitama knows a lot more about WWE figures than I would have guessed.

Who's going to be the hero that gives a bullet-point summary of the Q&A?

So, the thing holding up a WALTER figure is poor UK distribution?

One thing I learned from q and a is Harley Race is not under legends deal. I'm hoping the response was more about Bundy and Martel. Those guys haven't had figures since the line started and most likely aren't signed anymore. He did mention how hard it was for people to find Race due to a limited supply. Fingers crossed.

Putting Harley in legends line Does not make sense because legends line is target exclusive so international collectors and maybe the US collectors will again suffer the same situation . That's what I believe.

That was such a good q and a. I am not one of the guys who normally complains about the “nothing to announce answers” as I blame everyone who keeps asking, but I really thought they handled it well this year and without spoiling much gave me stuff to be excited about.
Bravo to all involved on this round of q and a. I really wish people on here weren’t so nit picky and stubborn and people like Bill felt welcome and actually wanted to interact. Let’s try and not do the same to Steve please.
Lastly this years reveals were superb. Of course I want more legends and new names, but I honestly think they have done their best to meet all collectors wants. For me I’ve come out of this con wanting Bulldog, Austin, Mae, Beefcake, Dibiase, ring carts and so much more.

The constant exclusives make this line practically impossible to collect for me. Everytime I get excited about some reveals, it deflates because it turns out they're exclusive to Walmart or Target. We don't have Target in Canada, and our Walmarts don't seem to get the exclusives for whatever reason. So it's unfortunate to hear that exclusives will be continuing, but that's expected and understandable from a business perspective. To be fair, I'm sure that's more of a Walmart issue rather than a Mattel one.
Fantastic Q&A. Steve was awesome here as usual. Very personable and clearly knowledgeable. Poor Bill looks exhausted lol. I think a lot of us don't realize how lucky we are when it comes to having these two at the forefront of the brand. Sure sometimes we don't get the answers we want, but there's only so much they can reveal.

Who's going to be the hero that gives a bullet-point summary of the Q&A? I will come in outta nowhere and do it. Will we get NXT UK figures? Wants to make sure everyone in the UK has access to these figures, so kind of paused until that is something that is resolved. Will see more NXT females? Yes - look at the new reveals. Elite 100? Will do something special, and referenced basic series 100. More Legends/Flashbacks to not be store exclusives? Exclusives are a way of the world. We want them to be as easy to obtain as possible. Able to make WCW US Title from Nitro era with the 2 plates instead of 4? Possible down the line - the 2 plate version was later in the WCW run. What challenges have you faced due to the pandemic? Bill says one positive is that the daily schedule can be re-adjusted, helping to work with the other side of the world, and a negative is missing the colleagues. Steve says it is better to balance life and work, mentioned DDP yoga, and a negative is that he can’t just walk over to Bill in the office and collaborate. This question took a LOT of time in the video. Any more plans for authentic scale rings of the type? Nothing to announce at this time. Collector Focused Playsets are important. Give us time, and name dropped Mattel Creations as an outlet. What is decision making when it comes to open hands and the like - insight in hand selecting process? Bill says a lot of factors - every figure should have gripping hands to hold accessories, but then it goes to individual decision. For Randy Orton maybe the ‘pose’ hands are more important or the punching hands. Names for possibility and asking for a response like blinking or something DX Rick Rude New Vader Ministry of Darkness * Gangrel * Viscera * Mideon * Acolytes (not APA) Haku Brother Love Dink Maven Spike Dudley Repo Man Sable Gangrel - HERE is where he said “People want two? It is hard enough for us to get one out.” Grand Master Sexay Albert Test Jeff Jarrett Val Venus — At least one of these is coming. Lots of requests and they are life long superfans. Whenever these specific legends are available to use we will get a figure out of them. It all comes down to availability. It is a long game - we are just now getting Greg Valentine and last summer got King Mabel, and now Viscera. Are there any plans for more WCW titles? TV, Hardcore, Women’s, Cruiserweight titles? Does this open up for ECW titles? A lot of it is determined based on talent availability. Once more talent is availability then more titles can come into the line. It seems like next year is the year of the titles. Any more possible celebrity figures? Hoping to get more, and Bill held up a Mr T boxing figure (24:18 mark). They said they are doing as much as they can to get more of these. Dominik Dijakovic? Probably yeah. Previously released figures - Bundy, Race, Martel mentioned - Releases or new figures? It all depends on the WWE Legends deal. Used Martel and Race as an example and did everything but state that they were not under contract. But they are no longer under contract. We are now seeing cinematic matches so are there any possibility of playsets in reference to these matches? These are very toyetic and it is just a matter of making it happen with retailers Are there any updates to the Retro Line? Very much aware of the demand for the retro line. Continuing to work on this and hoping to get this back on track. Bill - Will double jointed elbows become standard release? We are trying to say ahead of the curve and this is something that is being explored. When will we see the classic titles updated with belt tips and snaps like the recent North American title? Not a high priority as that is not something that the budget is best used for, but may be possible depending on the situation. Tooling $ vs Production $ means that redesigned belts to add a detail like that are realistically a lower priority. But it is possible in the future. Implementing that does replace something else, so keep that in mind. Is it possible to get a new torso mold for smaller guys that are more ripped? Ricochet does have a new mold. Is Shotzi’s tank in the works? ‘When’ I work on a Shotzi Blackheart figure I ‘would like’ to get that tank made. It is another balancing act, as that would mean something else is not made. Elite subline of commentators or announcers? That is most likely not possible because a retailer would most likely not support this, so these are best to be slotted in like that. Plus a lot of the talent is not available as those deals are not the same. More names: * Molly Holly * Terri Runnels * Jacqueline * Ivory * Torrie Wilson * Luna Vachon — Again ‘at least' one of them is coming ‘maybe more’ What is your favorite WWE Mattel to date and one favorite reveal from this weekend? Bill - All-time = First DM Macho Man. This year - Io Shirai as it was a hard one to get right. Steve - All-Time = old basic Hurricane (huge Hurricane fan), but more recently getting Chyna into the line. This weekend the Ring Cart was a big one and also the Legends 8 Warrior - which he held up and showed (38:12 mark). Bill then added Xavier Woods with the UpUpDownDown title to his list. Will collector's edition figures continue to be made available on Ringside? That is ’the hope’. Undertaker will not be because it is a special situation with Wal-Mart, but that is the hope for future collector’s editions figures. Any chance of a Mega Powers Elite 2-pack? Maybe - whether it is a 2-pack or as single figures, but they seemed to think it is a good possibility. Will Bill come back to wrestling figs? Steve has done a good job taking his place that he most likely let Steve keep doing his thing.

The only thing I took from this interview is for people to stop asking questions on "if this figure will be made or not", because they'll not give you a straight answer.

I don’t understand why RSC even ask these questions except to pad to interview. Whoever decides which questions get asked please for the love of god stop asking them unless it’s a very specific circumstance like Harley Race

I don’t understand why RSC even ask these questions except to pad to interview. Whoever decides which questions get asked please for the love of god stop asking them unless it’s a very specific circumstance like Harley Race I think it's a rock and a hard place scenario. Everybody knows that they're treat reveals like Fort Knox. But when the questions don't get asked, you get angry responses that "RSC ignored my question." Same deal with Steve's Q&A thread with the people that keep asking about womens figures over and over. If he humors them and answers them, they get mad because he won't give them a straight answer. If he skips it, they get mad that he didn't respond. I don't know where the idea of keeping any and all info under wraps comes from - WWE or Mattel. I don't blame Steve or Bill, because that's most likely a corporate policy and has been the norm since before Steve came onboard. But it just feels so archaic and disconnected when there are so many companies who love dropping hints and easter eggs for their collectors.

Nice Q&A Video, I missed RSCTom doing these. I also miss when they would call out the member who actually asked the question....that needs to come back. Like....it kinda feels cool when you get the shoutout, its a small detail but goes a long way I want to respond to the Store Exclusives comment/question specifically... I appreciate Steve saying what he said, because that's what should be done. I think we (the collectors) are all completely fine with store exclusives, its not about making them available only at one specific retailer its about making them MORE available AT those stores. Having a Legends figure be a store exclusive but literally 1 per case and half the stores only getting 1 cases is just awful. Whatever they did with that Elite Rock that was at Walmart was perfect, I wanna say every Walmart got a case of it...or at least most of them, because those were so plentiful. We don't need these exclusives to be so limited that only certain people find them at random stores. I don't collect wrestling figures to get that dopamine feeling of "hitting the lottery". I collect them because A) i'm addicted to it and 3) i enjoy having a physical representation of the performers I've been watching for 30 years. I get that it's been a work in progress, but it sounds like they figured out how to do it and I hope moving forward these Collectors Edition figures continue to be easier to find or buy...if it means they all end up on Ringside? even better because I'm perfectly fine giving them the business instead of running around to 2 dozen Walmarts hoping I can beat the local scalpers to get the ONE figure I want for my collection

Also, constructive criticism coming....
Can we set like an official mandate for all Q&A's, including the Steve thread....from this moment forward. No more questions to Steve or Bill about "will ___________ get an elite figure"
They are never going to tell us ahead of official announcements. Never. It's never happened, it's never going to happen. They can't do it legally, they don't want to ruin their actual scheduled announcements. There's literally a dozen reasons. And to be honest, I'm perfectly OK with it, I really don't want them to just be like "yeah we're gonna make everyone"...it will ruin all the actual yearly reveals we get.
It sucks? yes, I get it. We all want to know that our favorite missing talent from the line is getting a figure. But asking these guys repeatedly about the same people, and getting the same answers year after year after year is tiresome and unnecessary.
I make a suggestion moving forward, that if we want the guys at Mattel to know we (the collectors) want a figure of someone specific, that Ringside creates official polls or some kind of request/feedback thing, where people can just fill out names of the wrestlers they want and they send it to Mattel. Then they can see the demand for a certain superstar. Anything besides how it's been done.
