So my closest WalMart has a couple rings and belts and they reset the shelves. So I see the AEW tags. Now just to check there every morning until success. I wouldn't mind the hunt if every store got like 3-4 cases. Only 6 figures coming to my local spot is nerve-wracking.

I wouldn't even trust an August 6 date from Walmart. They will put them out when they do.

I see so many people just randomly checking the store instead of just using brickseek to at least prove the store has them In stock. Why keep checking meaninglessly if you can just check to see if the store actually has them?

It has been completely accurate in this case unless whoever received in freight from Walmart signed off for boxes that did not arrive. It just might take some time for the boxes to get from the pallet to the sales floor.

I guess i don’t understand what the advertisement has to do with stock at a particular store. Brickseek shows no stock within a 30 mile radius of where i live. Once i see stock change is when ill try to find a set. Due to my work im in my local walmart almost daily and unfortunately even if it shows they received them doesn’t mean they will hit the shelf anytime soon. Ive seen multiple toy pallets sit outback for 2 weeks before being stocked.

I put that in there as evidence that this was the date AEW promoted hyped and announced for the line to debut in stores. It's documented and it was "official.'
Secondly, Brickseek is a helpful tool, but it's not an all-purpose figure finder either. It's far from full-proof.

Agreed, over time inventory becomes skewed, and of course it takes time to update once an item sells. I wouldn't suggest anyone start making unnecessary trips to WM until their store shows In Stock for this particular figure hunt.

I just want to preface this by saying I'm not out to bash anyone. I'm happy these figures are coming to stores, and excited for everyone gearing up for the hunt.
That said... I must be getting old. All this talk I'm reading about ship dates, and what's coming to which physical store and when, is a level of anxiety I can't imagine. I guess it was being jerked around by Walmart and their shipping of the Real Ghostbusters retros that jaded me. But I digress. Unless it's the hot Christmas toy your kid really wants, I don't understand tracking down a toy at a store as soon as it hits shelves.
As for the AEW figures, all I want is a Kenny. My wife informed me that she snagged one off RSC, which is scheduled to arrive in time for my birthday, next month. She didn't want a repeat of our Walmart experience. If I could find a Jericho chase with the belt, that would be icing on the cake, but it's not the end of the world.

Believing brickseek 100%of the time does nothing but cause you to waste time and cause headaches for employees
