Look at it this way. The disappointment is part of the process. It’s what makes finding what you are looking for so sweet. If we found everything we wanted every time we went out, it would be boring, not to mention expensive.

I really feel awful for Walmart associates this week. Having to deal with the same people everyday has to be nauseating I feel bad for Walmart associates every week. Majority of the general public are awful.

Glad to see scalpers are alive and well. Hope no one buys them Wow! Here they come $100-$150 each. There are about a dozen in hand listings right now, The bay will be flooded by the weekend. Animals. It unfortunately seems to come with the territory, especially in the current economy. I've left a ton figure that were selling for $$$ on the pegs because I already have it or didn't want it for my collection. I always like to think that some little kid will come through and be thrilled add Otis or whoever to his fig fed. Reality is probably that some 40 year old dude in a Bullet Club shirt is going to put it up on ebay.

All those eBay listing are probably Walmart employees. These things don’t even stand a chance to ever touch the shelves. Sad.

Got last two at Wal Mart in DFW area. This was the only store on brickseek showing in stock yesterday. I went yesterday morning and it was not out yet. Noticed it on limited quantity today and was able to grab these. Brickseek updated immediately to out of stock when I bought them.

If anybody finds them in the box still, let’s try to share that photo so we all know what we’re looking for should there be a pallet sitting on the floor haha.

Chase at retail and I know it’s the retail workers themselves. Even if they don’t collect they either get kickbacks from the collector or figure out what’s hot on the sock dart market based on costumer interactions.

as someone who lives in canada, we simply can't have these crazy high expectations on products. we're lucky to get anything at all.
i preordered these for that exact reason. canada doesn't even know if or when we'll be getting the figures here. i'll still be waiting a good chunk of time for my figures, haven't gotten tracking info yet, and i'm cool with that.

As someone who collected the McFarlane Sports Pick line pretty heavily, I can guarantee you that sticking a big fat "chase" sticker and numbering on the front of these all but guarantees these won't even hit the floor in most places. Secondary market prices are going to be rough.

This is a teaching moment...just pre-order from Ringside and be done with it. I know Series 1 is already on back-order, but Series 2 is still available. If some of the people in this thread getting so worked up about action figures, it's probably worth the extra $12 to not have to worry in the future...and also not subject the rest of us to your meltdowns.

I can’t wait for this thread to turn into a findings haven. A lot of these posts are really pointless and aren’t even about looking for the figures. I’m trying to find posts and tweets about case breakdowns and who has found the Golden Ticket variants, but all I’m seeing is bickering. If I were a mod I’d delete that crap. Go scream into your pillow instead.

All those eBay listing are probably Walmart employees. These things don’t even stand a chance to ever touch the shelves. Sad. 99.9% of Walmart employees do not watch AEW or even know who Kenny Omega, Cody Rhodes, The Young Bucks, etc are. Is it not possible the figures sold out with thousands of people headed to Walmart looking for them after a specific release date was announced?

Every Walmart’s not filled with a bunch of marks. Yes there situations that this happens or employees are tipped for holding atuff, but it’s not a wide spread thing. This is dead an issue with jazwares/walmart

Misinterpreted my message. The reaction of some for legit criticisms, like the guy who blocked me and wheel jack, that’s exactly what I was referring. I don’t know what he all said but I felt my comment was fair. Also, those elements have taken over much of society as a whole, and those feelings and mindsets bleed over. I mean, so what? Do you know him? It's a message board. I've lost count of the people who have probably got me blocked. I'm long past due to be blocking wheeljack myself, 'cause I won't tiptoe around the fact that he is every bit the type of person I've been talking about, who has just no sense of chill in regard to these sorts of things. As for that other hornet's nest...I won't deny that those aspects are more prevalent in our lives than ever before (and - hot take alert - rightfully f*cking so)...but if you can't come and talk about action figures and whatever sort of bullsh*t surrounds them without either letting your own feelings on those matters bleed into the conversation, or suspecting that someone else's feelings on those matters are driving their hard nosed opinions on action figure related topics, then that onus is entirely on you, and it may be time to re-enroll in Life Compartmentalizing 101. Meh.......

There is something magical about going into the store and finding the figures and bringing them home, a harkening back to childhood If you will. But yeah, you are spot on. It’s why I pre-ordered Fish and O’Reilly and will do the same with the Viking Raiders. It’s just not worth it hunting anymore.

An employee stocking the toy isle today at my local WM store scanned the bar code for the 6-inch figures for me; and it said that they would be coming in on the 5th. However, he said that the lady that will be stocking the new arrivals from the truck won't be able to get to it til Thursday morning. If true, then my best time would be around noon if I wanna get to them First before the scalpers hog 'em all.
