I went ahead and ordered series 2 minus Lucha Bros. Just peace of mind especially if a second wave of quarantine hits us I won’t be risking things going to Walmart to find them.

Will series 3 be out before the year jw 🤔 Possibly rushed before Christmas? Was the original plan three waves this year?

Gotta share a quick story. So last night I went to a rural area Walmart after work to check the stock (they had the pegs out yesterday morning). I grabbed a Kenny & a Cody leaving 1 Omega left (only 3 figs from the case when I got there). There was a kid (6-7) looking at WWE stuff next to me with his mom (they only had belts and basics). He got excited because they had the blue tag title and EC3 (of all people, kid seemed like a fan). He saw me grab my figures and he looked at the AEW space in awe. He saw the title and immediately dropped the tag belt and showed his mom. He then saw Omega and was stunned. "Who is that?" I told him that AEW is on tonight (last night) and how cool I thought Omega was. I got it down for him and he stared at it for a long time. I didn't stick around to see if he got it or not (I'm a grown man with a beard and I had already spent too much time talking to the kid. I didn't need security investigating me. lol), but I thought it was cool for a family to find out about AEW from the toys. I'm curious to see as these become more prevalent if the audience for AEW noticeably grows. Toys (and video games) are absolutely a big way to bring new eyes to your product in the key demos. The figures look cool and are very kid-friendly. They'll absolutely introduce some new people to the product just by having the figures on the shelves at the largest retailer. Ya know, whenever they actually get here.

Made a Walmart stop on my lunch break and found the belt and ring and talked to someone who showed me they’re supposed to have the figures on the 8th

I'm honestly surprised with the white-hot hype and 'chaos' the launch of S1 has created online that S2 isn't already on backorder. Especially given what an extremely solid set it is. We’re the only people buying these. They will sell initially and then rot on the pegs

If/when they introduce legends, I think you'll see similar reactions from an older crowd of lapsed wrestling fans. "Cool, a Taz figure. What's AEW?" You really can't understate the value of having a 24/7 advertisement for your product inside the nation's largest retail store.

This belt is a thing of beauty. It could sell for more than $20 imo

No kid is staring in awe at AWE toys. If anything, trying to figure out who the two Elvis impersonators are When I first started watching wrestling (somewhere between 4 and 5 years old) I only knew of WWF. Sometime after I saw a couple of those ljn style WCW figures. I grabbed sting and sometime else I hadn't heard of because I liked stings face paint. (I had a bunch of ljns already too). From there I ended up starting to look for WCW tapes at blockbuster, etc. Awe wouldn't exactly be the word I'd use, but the toys were the first thing to clue me into wrestling outside the WWF.

This belt is a thing of beauty. It could sell for more than $20 imo I debated getting the belt and the ring when they were on Wal-Mart.com the other night. I felt since I display, I didn’t need a ring and since I have some WWE replicas, I didn’t need a toy belt that I felt would become clutter. Your picture has made me regret my decisions.

The ring is way bigger than I thought it'd be. Can't believe that's the "small" one...

Found the ring and empty pegs. It’s a step in the right direction at least.
Also unrelated but the new WWE top picks are out

Is the ring closer to like, Jakks hardcore ring size than the spring rings ? Really considering this one
