Cant stand him. Hes boring to me. People are too caught up on his look, which just feels weird to me.

I think he's been great as champion and wish he hangs onto it thru at least rest of the year

In this thread there’s only been like 4 People who aren’t fans of his, I’d say that’s a pretty good indicator that’s he’s doing well.
I personally love him as champ.

I know this is a pretty obvious thread but what is your opinion of him so far? I think he lacks something and is a bit boring. Hopefully WWE find someone else soon. No one else really comes to my mind on NXT or mid card so looks like we are stuck with him. No wonder Edge and Orton are back. WWE struggle to create real stars now. The last successful ones where the Shield and I think there best days are behind them. I think he's a way better babyface than heel, he just needs better opponents, and now they're giving him that with Randy. I do agree with The Shield take; I think in two years time, Seth will be creatively done, and it's only a matter of time before Reigns either goes to Hollywood or has nothing left to do. If I'm being honest, I've been over Serth for years and have found him boring, repetitive, and stale from a character standpoint. WWE has twenty "stars", but Vince won't push them to the top

Don’t watch the majority of RAW, so I’m a bit outside of the conversation. The few matches of his as champ I’ve seen were solid. I’m worried they’re going to blame him for the loss of viewers and have someone take the title off of him in attempt to “shake things up” (the same thing happened to Kofi last year). It’s a bummer that match against Lesnar (the best WM match by far) didn’t happen in front of fans. I think he should get a long reign in attempt to build a new star, but I doubt they have the patience and energy for that. That WM match with Drew/Brock was one of the worst WWE Title matches I’ve ever seen. It was legit “Brock hits a few finishers, Drew hits a few finishers, Drew wins in under 5 minutes.” It was worse than the typical Brock matches we’ve seen the last few years. I will say outside of that Drew’s matches have all been very good. But that WM match was the drizzling craps. To each their own. I thought it was like 3 1/2 star match, but compared to everything else I saw it was the best. I can totally see why someone would hate it and I do wish it had more time to tell a story in ring, but it feels like Drew winning in that fashion is a set up for another (longer) match.

Drew has been awesome, i really hope he gets a chance to win the title at WM one day with a crowd as he deserves that moment. You really have to feel sorry for him, being the champ after all he has gone through is great but it must feel hollow without the crowds and arena's week in week out.

To me, Drew is the face champion we as fans have been begging for for nearly 2 decades. He's not just a look as some have said. He's the complete package. Great on the mic, cool persona, badass attitude - something WWE has struggled with their good guys since Stone Cold imo. Not to mention hes a brilliant wrestler and phenomenal athlete for his size.
Maybe I'm just bias, but I genuinely can't understand what people want in a champion if it's not Drew.

I like watching his matches. He has a great look to be a superstar and should work harder on promos. That flying kick he does is a great finishing move.

Fantastic babyface champion. He’s everything that Vince wishes Roman could be and much more. Wish they could have booked him like this from the second he got called up from NXT. The only thing that sucks is that he’s with the strap during the pandemic era, and I hope that Vince isn’t foolish enough to pin that on him. I think if things were normal, Drew would be massively over. Sadly, Randy is probably going over at Summerslam. Then it’s going to be painfully obvious that Randy will be defending the title against Edge at next years Mania. Continuing the vicious cycle of relying on relics from the past which gets us nowhere. I hope I’m wrong about this though.

Continuing the vicious cycle of relying on relics from the past which gets us nowhere. I hope I’m wrong about this though. The Draft is supposedly coming up soon. So if Orton does win the Title, i can definitely see Drew going to Smackdown soon after & taking the Title off either Braun, or The Fiend at some point. I'm thinking Flair might come out at SummerSlam, and cost Orton the Title while the ref is down for whatever reason. That, or Edge will get involved in some capacity. Regardless, i hope he doesn't lose at SummerSlam. Drew's reign should last until WrestleMania at least.

I thought he was generic as hell for years, and then I attended the Rumble this year. Then I finally understood. Dude is a main eventer and if crowds were around they would be losing their sh** for him. I think once we have a better idea when crowds are coming back, have him drop it and chase it so he can get that pop when he wins it back.

I like him a lot as champion. He looks legit tough. Too bad his reign is what it is.

A breath of fresh air and he's been the best champion in years. I just hope they don't make him put over Orton at Summerslam.

I’m conflicted on Drew, but ultimately think his face run has been forced and boring. I think the guy has a great look and is good in the ring, but he comes off as a natural heel to me. He should have won the title as a badass heel who just dominates everyone. I feel like this face turn literally come out of nowhere and it’s just not consistent with his character prior to the royal rumble this year. Even if he became a tweener character I feel it would have worked better for him.
I’m glad he’s got the title as he’s got everything to be a top guy. I just think he’d work better as a heel champ.
