And I think with the exception of Sting, Hangman, Pac, Black , Mathew’s & Jerichofigures I feel like I am done with this line. They have just gotten so inconsistent with their quality where it’s sculpts, scale, skin tones, etc.

I picked up the Unrivaled Christian Cage. This was a figure I was looking forward to. But now that I have it I am very disappointed. The heads are tiny compared to the torso and that hand. And the neck is way too thin as even the tiny heads stick out way too far when looking at it from the sides. The torso and lower torso looks like it’s bloated. The legs look odd. It almost looks like the hips are backwards because they’re on the wrong sides. The feet are tiny and the searching hand is just as long as the feet.

So after WalMart delayed my order this morning I checked the availability locally and it showed as in stock at the Fishkill NY Walmart which is about an hour north from me.
I then placed a curbside pickup order and received an email 10 minutes later saying it was ready for pick up. So I drove up there and picked it up. I also checked the aisle where they had three more so I picked up another in case my delayed order get canceled. Here’s blue and black attire looks I will do the red ones over the weekend.

I picked up the Unrivaled Series 8 Orange Cassidy from Walmart over the weekend. It’s ok for my purposes of standing on a shelf, but as far as playing goes the pants design pretty much kills any leg movement. And I do feel like the pants will dry out and rot fairly quickly. Overall I feel this is the most disappointing figure the released because of the lower body design.

My Supreme Collection Series 1 Cody Rhodes arrived today from RSC. I think the only things I didn’t swap were the boots and belts. And as cool as the coat is I am worried the red rubber will bleed into the figure over time. I know people have had stains with the rubber jackets on past AEW figures. So I think I will either put some masking tape on the inside of the coat or maybe some plastic wrap on the figure. I haven’t decided which yet.

IT’S STING!!! My two Unmatched Series 2 Luminaries Sting figures arrived from RSC. This is probably the best figure in the AEW line to date. If I was going to nitpick anything it would be they added so much detail into the sculpt of the coat and figure, but his with his upper torso they couldn’t sculpt a shirt collar to it.

My two Unrivaled Series 3 Pac figures just arrived. Unfortunately the skin tone doesn’t match Mattel’s KotCW WrestleMania Neville figure...so that head swap isn’t happening. I have to say while the head without hair covering his face isn’t the best likeness my biggest issue with the figure is his “love handles”. The guy’s in phenomenal shape yet because of the love handles they gave him especially in the back his waist looks to thick. Especially from the sides and back.


UPDATED 1/12* So my back ordered Unrivaled Series 2 “Hangman” Adam Page and MJF figures shipped yesterday as did my preorder for two Unrivaled Series 3 Pac figures. They were picked up from RSC at the same time. Arrived and left the Metro facility together. Then arrived at the White Plains NY facility together. Yet only my series 2 figures left White Plains to the Monsey NY PO and finally my local PO. I just don’t get the PO. Clearly the two orders were traveling in the same trailers. So what happened at White Plains? Did they only unload half the trailer? lol

Now if I see a Matt at WalMart I will buy it but if not I am done with Series 1 and now the wait for Series 2 to hit RSC starts.

So Monroe NY showed these in stock at 1am this morning (3 hours after they closed) this morning I got up at 5:15 because I wanted to stop there on my way to my brother-in-law’s in Middletown so I could be at that Middletown Target when they opened in hopes of finding the Beachhead figure. (Showed 6 of him in stock) Well, at 5:30 I checked Brickseek again for the AEW and Monroe went to zero in the 4 1/2 hours overnight. I was at the Monroe store when they opened and asked the dept manager if they had them giving her my Cody upc to scan. And of course there were none. So we got up to Middletown around 7:40 so I hit that WalMart and asked the woman there if they had them and she said someone was there about 15-20 minutes earlier and reused to buy the whole case. But she said she made him leave the extra and pulled it off her cart. It was Omega which other than the variants and an extra of the regular Cody and Jericho was the only other series 1 figure I wanted. So I have my Omega now. Oh and when I got to the Joe aisle at Target all the Joe’s were in 3 other customers hands.

I have said my thoughts about the figures overall design in the “Bit of the Bubbly” figure review. Which can be seen below.



Wrestling has more than one Royal Family
”American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes - overall he’s a very nice looking figure. Head sculpt and attire looks great. I would say the one thing that could have been better is accessories. He comes with just a sledgehammer and his lifting belt. So an extra set of hands or a tshirt would have been great. Especially when Jericho has a hat, jacket, soft goods scarf and a pair of extra hand.

“Le Champion” Chris Jericho - Jericho has a different head than the Bubbly figure. And it looks very good. The ring attire looks to be the same on both figures. Jericho has a hat, jacket, soft goods scarf and a pair of extra hands. I know they probably couldn’t put it here with Jericho but someone in series 1 should have come with the title. As of now you either need to buy an exclusive figure or hope to find a 1 of 500 chase figure to get a title. While it wouldn’t be ideal for mib collectors packing Cody with the world championship would have been great. Or even with Brandi to help her sales, but the championship belt should be accessible in series 1.
