It's not too late. It's never too late.

I think he can still wrestle, but if they were going to make him world champ, it would've been during that AJ Styles feud.

If this... ...and this... ...can happen... Why does Goldberg look older with the original version of the Universal Championship Title Belt??

Probably. Way more so because of the injuries than his age. Joe is the most authentic promo on the roster for me. He immediately makes everything he does engaging. Heâs definitely slower in the ring, but not to a point where heâs not good enough to hold the title. For instance, heâs still a much, much, better worker than Wyatt.
If Iâm Vince, Joe is probably a guy I love to have when heâs available to me, but I likely donât perceive him as reliable enough to be champion right now. Not saying Joe canât change that perception, but it seems more likely Joe will get a mid card title again when heâs back at it.
I think Iâve grown to a point where I would love to see Joe win, but it doesnât have to happen to give his career merit. I recently went back and watched his matches with Punk, which made me jump to some of his TNA stuff with AJ and Kurt Angle, and he was undeniably one of the best total package performers in the world at that time. He won the ROH and TNA World Title at that time and was rewarded for that work. I think Joeâs place in wrestling history is already cemented, but having him win the big one in WWE would be a cherry on top that I would love to see..

I'd love a Joe vs Bray feud eventually. If the title could be on the line, even better.

No but I don't think it would be a long reign if it happened.
I could see him becoming an active superstar next year and feuding with Rollins. So if Rollins is WWE Champion again in 2021 maybe Joe finally wins a world title in WWE?

He's afraid of and runs away from Retribution now. Joe has lost ALL credibility.

I donât think so, but considering his age and injury history, I donât think itâs likely.
Itâs a shame too because I felt his best shot to win it was against AJ in 2018. AJâs reign had long become boring by that point and putting the title on a heel Joe would have freshened thing up but they didnât pull the trigger.
I felt he had an amazing 1 month feud with Brock in 2017 and he did enough for the WWE to change plans and let him beat Brock, but we know that was never going to happen due to Vinceâs hard-on for Roman.

In a way, yes because they've kinda missed the ball now. Plus he's soooo good on the annouce team.
But in a way, no because all they gotta do is reapply the full push and let him have some killer matches and possibly we could get one run.
But I think they'd rather the title be on someone else in all honesty.

I think so. Heâs gotten hurt too much. Age clearly doesnât matter anymore. Heâs what....40? Most of WWEs upper card is late 30s-early 40s. Orton, AJ. Even Bobby Lashley (the whole Hurt Business really) in his mid 40s and one of the most protected guys on the roster right now.
Joe could have been there. Love his in ring work (though he really missed the Muscle Buster on the main roster). But heâs a believable force in the ring. Unfortunately injuries kept occurring every time he was in the middle of a push.

Yup, sadly. We canât all make a living complaining about the Fed. Or with trolling... A desire to see long term booking followed through isnât trolling. You can prefer them to change plans on a whim and tear up the script every week if thatâs your thing, Iâd rather see them stick to a vision. Iâm pretty sure other folks on here have been asking for long term booking too.

Sting/Hogan's year long build to starrcade 97 was fantastic. that doesn't mean that Lex Luger getting the surprise unexpected win over hogan before losing it back was a bad decision either.

Sadly, yes. He should of beat Brock for it a few years back.

I think he's gonna end up like Tazz, where he still has the talent but it isn't needed anymore in the WWE. So he'll stick to commentary.

Definitely too late. Vince clearly wants him on commentary more than anything.
At least we'll always have Great Balls of Fire.
