So when my local target got legends 7 in, popfindr said it had 5 in stock and so I went, sure enough whole case on shelf. So I took 2 razors.
2 days later all stores around my area said 0. My local target sold out of them.
I go there today, and I see a new fresh case on shelf minus 1 razor. I go into popfindr, and says 0, but there's 2 heenans, 1 hammer, and 1 razor on shelf.
Moral of this is dont always rely on popfindr. Go into target and look, you might be surprised.

That’s ridiculous. They’ve been incredibly helpful. he’s mad bc he never finds anything no im not. i think they are ing stupid. im a consumer, why do i need to know whats in a retail store before i go there? its like if you were an NFL team and gave your opponent your playbook before the game. part of retail is supposed to be going to your stores and not actually knowing what you're going to find first of all, it literally gives scalpers the easiest tool in existence to be able to get to a store to buy out all the stock of anything, not just wrestling. how is this right? so because i want to buy a ing action figure for retail price i have to get up at 6 in the morning in the middle of July because the local ebay seller is checking brickseek every day and is at the store before me? on top of that it has become people just checking brickseek, going to the store, NOT finding anything and getting pissed because brickseek was wrong or the store hasnt actually put out the stock yet so that it's creating a horrible dynamic for the people at retail stores, with these scalper/toy "hunters" who go into stores yelling at employees, asking for managers saying "GARRRRGGGG IT SAYS IN STOCK ON BRICKSEEEEEEKK RRAARRRRRRRRR" nobody ever complained about distribution the way they do before brickseek became a thing. the people that cared would hit their local spots when they could and were usually able to find stuff. these online stock checkers are just becoming the driving force in what is SUPPOSED to be an enjoyable hobby for people, but nobody even cares about buying things anymore they just want to figure out the system of brickseek and get to the store before the ebay seller or sell it themselves

I saw a grown man throw a temper tantrum in Walmart yesterday complete with foot stomping over the masters of the universe toys not being on the shelves when he knew they had them. It’s ridiculous to see grown men do this.

I think you’re just mad that you can’t find anything.

I think you’re just mad that you can’t find anything. I think you are 100% wrong. and while you're not worth giving this much detail to, I will because you responded to me like a typical message board child.... so I'll lay this out it to you... I've been buying toys/collectibles for myself from retail stores for 15 years. I have never had real, legit problems "finding" things...and my post literally had nothing to do with my own personal experiences of finding anything at retail. Before and during this era of online inventory trackers. However, that does not change my opinion on them in that they are a detriment to hobbies. Two completely different things, to which you ENTIRELY missed the point because you just wanted to try and seem like the "cool guy" and going "pssh you just mad"

i legit wish both the "inventory" tracker sites would disappear entirely. Now that’s just stupid cuz Sometimes we find things on there so for instance I found legends series 7 and the spotlight set and elite 69 Liv Morgan. But sometimes it’s not accurate

One thing that always irritates me about it is when they say they got something but there are none out and the employees won’t help. Then a few hours later the numbers start dropping. Another thing would be when it says there are 20 but all they have is 4 on the shelf. Why not just put it all out so it sells and the customers can find it without making several trips.

100% accurate for me in Florida.
YMMV is definitely the case here.

My experience BrickSeek has been more of a useless tool then Popfindr. But yes either or are not 100% accurate & never rely on it.

Brickseek and Popfindr don't really give anyone the edge or the advantage they think it does. It's a tool everyone uses now, it's as helpful as it is harmful.
