Howdy folks, looking for a little help.
I have become obsessed with the Star Wars Retro Collection. They are probably my favorite figures of the last few years. My only gripe is that big ugly sticker on the front of the packaging. So far I have five A New Hope figures and two Empire Strikes Back figures and I was able to safely and carefully remove the sticker on six of the card. Luke Skywalker from A New Hope was not so lucky ;(
I never left the lighter fluid to it long enough, got impatient and pulled the sticker a bit hard and ripped part of the damn artwork off, I was so freaking mad with myself lol. Now I could spend another £9.99 and get another one. However, I was thinking I could try printing off the card and carefully cutting out the bit I ripped and putting that over it. I know that it will not look great, but it will look better than the big ugly rip that is on there now.
Anyone know a site where I can get a good quality image of the Star Wars Luke Skywalker carding to print out? Another thing I was thinking was to print out the Retro Collection sticker and put that back over it? However, as the rest do not have it I feel it would stick out like a sore thumb.
Thanks in advance for any help and I deserve all your comments calling me a dumbass lol, but if you have ever messed up a card trying to remove a sticker I would love to know if you managed to fix it.
