So I'm rewatching WWF PPVs from 92-97. I noticed that Vince hypes up WWF Radio with Gorilla Monsoon and Jim Ross. That sounds like magic on radio, so has anyone here listened to WWF Radio when it aired? What was it like? I was never able to experience it for myself, so I will live vicariously through your memories haha.

It wasn't in my area sadly.Would love to listen to em though.Surprised they haven't surfaced online over the years.
I believe one show had Randy Savage on in which he buried Hogan. Would love to hear that one!

For the PPVs that Jim Ross and Gino Monsoon did Radio WWF, was that free?? Could you hear what was happening at the PPV live for free on the radio?? Because if that was the case, there would really be no reason to buy the PPV if you didn't mind just hearing about what's happening and picturing it in your head.

It was still even by 2000, though likely in more of a 1 off capacity. I have never heard of many fans referring to it that often.

I want to say on one of the PPVs in 1993 or 1994 they let Monsoon and JR commentate on one match from the WWF Radio position, but I cannot remember which one.

I too tried to look for it but it wasn't in my area. I'm starting to think that they just made it up lol. There's been other threads like this before & no one has ever said that they heard radio wwf.

Apparently Radio WWF was just Jim Ross's radio show. They renamed it Radio WWF. So I am guessing it was just aired down in the south part of the USA cause I am sure that's where it aired at when Jim was doing that while working in WCW.
