I received an invite for a sneak peak for their “rehearsal”. Any one try to get in? Anyone successful in getting in?

Don't really see the big deal. Just a stage with a Mark Screen concealing the empty seats.

I'll give it a chance before I write it off. It is what it is. I assume it'll be like most things... fans will b**ch beforehand, tweaks will be made, and after a few weeks it'll be the new norm. Even if it's not ideal, it's much smarter than letting fans attend in person.
I'm sure the usual suspects will continue to complain about it while claiming that they aren't watching though.

It looks fine from the overhead shots I’ve seen. It’s strange on the standard camera angle on the ring for sure though, but it’s the first time seeing it so that’s natural I think. We’ll see how everything looks as a whole tomorrow night for SD. Seeing normal entrances and having pyro or whatever they do should help too.

Only thing I’m kinda disappointed in is the fact that only the lower bowl of the Amway Center seems to be getting utilized, and not the upper sections, too. Kinda like when shows aren’t even close to selling out. But I guess it makes sense. I doubt they were going to want to construct the same thing on the bottom in the upper part of the arena as well. Looks slick and lively, otherwise. No darkened out crowd with the annoying red, or blue spotlights all over the place is a nice plus as well. Hope it all works out in the end.

WWE fans: we're sick of the performance centre and ready for a change. WWE: ThunderDome!! tang: Simply. it’s another short sighted desperate attempt by the company to remain relevant and not address the systemic issues plaguing their company’s creative direction and output. But... he's right. It is creative and use of the talent that is primarily the problem. A touch up with a new coat of paint will look good for a little while, but is short sighted and won't give them the traction they want long term....

I'm ready for when John, 34, from Alabama starts jerking off on the hard cam side during a womens match.

I'm assuming I'm the only one watching the NBA because people here don't like real sports 😉 but it looks like that. It works well for nba and looks good for wwe. And not sure if people know this but they're on at least a 30 second delay if not more, so naked people won't show up.

The reason I think that works is because there’s not really an emphasis on the fan cams except when someone “famous” or related to a player is on. It’s just background filler. There’s a lot of shots where the digital fans aren’t in view and it focuses on the action. If WwE is smart, they’ll do the same. It’ll be unavoidable though if there’s digital fans surrounding the entire ring unless they shoot from unnatural angles.

The stills look weird, but I'm still interested to see if they can work out the kinks and make it look presentable on broadcast. One page I think they need to pull from the NBA playbook is getting rid of fan backgrounds. It's a little less jarring to see the NBA fans in their virtual "seats". I also like that placement is supposedly randomized so that green shirt guy, guy and his mom, Brock Lesnar Guy, and Frank the Clown potentially don't get to spend the entire night making spectacles of themselves.

Too bright. It works for the NBA because the screens are higher than the playing level. And the area is not super lit. What the WWE is doing is going to be an attack on your eyes, will mess with in ring action, and will just be a nuisance. If I don't like it, I may not watch TakeOver.

We can all assume that at SummerSlam or Raw the following night that those small little men in Retribution will somehow get onto the screen and disrupt the WWE again, right?? I figure this just add right into what they have been doing lately.
Though again, they may be high school students with how small they are and could be now going to bed early if school has started for them.

Them flicking off the lights, sabotaging the drone cams, hacking the Mark screens, all seem likely. Perhaps we may see this weekend the actual reveal of who this trash social commentary is supposed to "build up". If these dorks don't burn down the Amway though, they are chickensh*t.

Also, is there a suit coming between this and Discovery's "Dodgeball Thunderdome"?

I guess the first person that tries to start a WHAT?? chant is gonna get their feed cut off. lol If there's even audio, lol not sure how it all works. Apparently, fans are not allowed to wear AEW merchandise on screen even though THEY ARE AT HOME! Maybe there will be 3 guys, one with an A painted on his chest, one with an E painted on his chest and another with a W painted on his chest
