Undertaker Rob Van Dam Chris Jericho Eddie Guerrero Brock Lesnar I thought WWE was a weird show for gross people when I first saw it (I might have been on to something), so I got into it late. What year did you start watching? To the OP or whoever wants to answer, are you basically asking top 5 of all time or just guys we enjoyed when we were younger? King of the Ring 2002. I was hooked and started VHS hunting to catch up.

Early 2000's Well I started watching in the early 90s and by the early 2000s I was all grown up so I guess Iβll list my top 5 in that timeframe... Roddy Piper Hulk Hogan Bret Hart Stone Cold Shane Douglas

Jeff Hardy - One of my first favourite Wrestler's. When i first saw him, i loved his look & his style, and instantly wanted a figure of him. Throughout 2007, i'd make Jeff Hardy CAW's on SVR07, as well as obscure 'Hardy Brothers' with names like 'Josh Hardy', 'John Hardy' etc... that all looked exactly like Jeff. Jeff was my favourite during the majority of 2007-2009 a bit after he left.
CM Punk - I always liked Punk, but he was never one of my top favourites early on. When he turned heel on Jeff in 2009 & cashed in MITB, i hated him for it. But as the feud went on, i started to like heel Punk more & more, i hated that he beat Jeff to make him 'leave', but he was growing on me. On one episode of Smackdown in late 2009, i remember a promo where Punk said something along the lines of "Put your hand on the TV screen, and feel the power of Straight Edge flow through you"... So i jokingly did it, and i guess it must have worked somehow, because after that he was quickly becoming my favourite Wrestler, and by the start of 2010, he WAS favourite Wrestler. I lived a Straight Edge lifestyle, and i'd buy anything Punk. The day he left in 2014, i thought it might have been a work, or that he was just taking time off... Punk was my favourite for the longest time out of any Wrestler, 2010-2017. The only thing that knocked him off that top spot, was when i started getting into Luke Harper in late 2016/early 2017.
Edge - I liked & hated Edge growing up. I liked his look & attire, but hated him when he was a heel since he was that arrogant, cocky prick. I probably hated him the most during his feuds with Taker & Jeff, two of my favourites around that time, and also the feud with Matt as i went back and watched older PPV's etc... But like Punk, he did end up growing on me as a heel, and when he returned as a face in 2010, i was a fan of him. I liked him throughout 2010/2011, and i remember exactly where i was when he retired. We were on holiday in the Gold Coast (Australia), and had RAW on in the hotel, i was in the Bathroom at the time but i could still hear the audio, and remember hearing him say he had to retire. My parents said something along the lines of "I doubt it, he'll come back in a few months", i came back out, saw the end of the segment & knew it was real. Over the years, i grew to appreciate Edge more & more, and how good he was at playing any role. Now, he's my all time favourite Wrestler.
Triple H - From memory, i'm positive that Triple H was the first person i ever saw with Wrestling. Obviously on the cover of SVR07, but the first person i played as, and i was instantly drawn to his look & entrance. During my first few months, DX 2006 quickly became my favourite thing about Wrestling. So while i never got to watch Triple H in real time for about 8 months (Until he returned at Summerslam 07), i was able to watch almost everything he did in 05/06. I loved his 05/06 heel runs, his Vengeance 05 HIAC with Batista, and his WM22 match with Cena. Since then, he's always been one of my favourites, and i excited to see him live at the first show i ever went to. Today, he's probably ranked 10 or 11 in my all time favourites, but i'll always like him.
Shawn Michaels - Similar to Triple H, DX 2006 was the main thing that got me into HBK. I liked his look & style in the ring, at the time i thought his theme song was cheesy as f*ck, but it fit him so well. His solo run after Triple H got injured at NYR 07 was fun to watch, his WM23 match with Cena is my all time favourite match, and his attire from that PPV is my all time favourite attire. I remember marking out when he returned in 2007, i was at a friends house, and we went on to WWE's site to see the RAW results. 2007 Australian Internet meant the page would take about 5 minutes to load, but i remember seeing the headline & picture of his return, and jumping in joy. Like Triple H, he's always been one of my favourites too, and rank 10 or 11 in my all time. I can never decide if i like Triple H or HBK more, so they usually switch between those two spots in my rankings.
Honourable Mentions - Undertaker - Kane - Matt Hardy - Batista - Chris Jericho - Rey Mysterio - Booker T - RVD - John Cena

I actually started practicing McMahonism after WrestleMania V and before SummerSlam 1989. Before Ultimate Warrior regained the work horse Title from the Ravishing One, and before Randy Savage took the Crown from Hacksaw, I was already a big fan of the Ultimate Maniacs. I really thought Hulk Hogan, Ax, Smash, and Ted DiBiase would hold their respective Championship Title Belts forever.

4/5 my man!
Take out Triple H and add in Bret Hart and you have the top 5 from that era for me.
