I read the roster for the upcoming WWE game and there was a few surprising names on the list. I'd imagine if they could put them in a game they are fair game for figures. What game? The names I've seen for Battleground are pretty much the run of the mill legends names. |

I read the roster for the upcoming WWE game and there was a few surprising names on the list. I'd imagine if they could put them in a game they are fair game for figures. What game? The names I've seen for Battleground are pretty much the run of the mill legends names. I remember seeing Vader on the list which hopefully means a new figure. I honestly can't remember most of the other ones. Some I thought they lost the rights to. |

Just checked the list again. In the upcoming roster section. Some of the names they list are Vader, Natural Disaster's, Doink, Boogeyman. If the game rights include figure rights we could see newer versions of these guys. Also find it funny they haven't taken out Gallows and Anderson.

I’m actually not sure how new these may actually be, but there are now “rookie” shirts up for several big name Legends, such as Mean Mark Callous and Terra Ryzing. Perhaps this could mark a shift in attitude toward those gimmicks, which some have suggested in the past would be off limits per WWE’s discretion. I personally would love to see figures of the guys that the shirts depict, especially a WCW Diamond Studd (and manager DDP to boot). They have Isaac Yankem and Ringmaster shirts and Mattel made those figures a few years ago. I need a Dr. Issac Yankem shirt |

The video games deals are their own thing and separate from any WWE Legends or merch deal. However, I would imagine anyone on the roster is in "good standing" with WWE and that's a start. I thought WWE put a stop to them doing outside deals or they stopped themselves. I thought it was the reason why 2k19 had names like Rick Martel and Ivory and 2K20 Legends was drastically cut and had very few surprises. |
