Happy Cry About Vince Day! I’d say the continually tanking ratings are reason enough to crap on Vince, let alone the numerous former employees who have spoken about the crappy working environment.

The best thing about Cry About Vince Day is that every day is Cry About Vince Day! The second best thing about Cry About Vince Day is that no matter how hard some people devote themselves to Cry About Vince Day, no matter how overwhelmingly negative all online discussion of him is, the out of touch old man has led his company to more money than it has ever made before. We don't like what we like.

Hi tang! convenient of you to reappear after the velveteen threads get locked, would've liked to see your sad ass Vince defence there. @tang at least is honest. not only would you be no fun at parties, but I'm willing to bet you're not invited to many.

I don’t watch NXT, has Vince McMahon “buried” Velveteen Dream now or something? In the Thunderdome thread, lots of posts were saying Vince hates/doesn’t know about NXT. Are we counting NXT as a Vinnie Mac joint now or is it still our red-headed indie stepchild of WWE? tang just regurgitates the Meltzer/Alvarez/JDfromNY “FED BAD” takes. I know that’s your deal too, but at least most of you are doing it in English rather than the fuzzy morse code that tang communicates in I’m not sure someone who has spent the last decade obsessively hatewatching a TV show is the best judge of the party scene 😂but I certainly haven’t been partying lately like the Ayatollah of Rock and Rona was at Sturgis.

I'd say just as many of my posts are positive about the wwe as negative, so now you're just projecting my dude. lots of aspects of war suck, for some reason you just cannot admit that though. obsessively hate watching? this is what I mean by just goofy sad accusations. I watched the first episode of raw I had since before covid a few weeks ago. didn't think it was terrible, didn't think it was great. you just fail man. I have no problem admitting aspects of AEW suck, and yet here you are with that wwe soother uncomfortable far back in your throat.

I like the big time pro wrestling. The smaller groups like NXT, AEW, TNA etc just don’t grab me. And no, if Velveteen Dream is guilty of sexually harassing kids, it’s disgusting to employ him and present him as a featured character on your TV show. And I’d say the same about the stuff with Matt Riddle, Sammy Guevara, Darby Allin, Marty Scurll, Joey Ryan, David Starr, Justin Roberts, and the NXT UK guys. I don’t really know the details of any of those cases except the Sammy one though, the whole Speaking Out thing seems to have gone quiet lately. I absolutely support not booking and promoting predators. And in terms of TV content, I am totally against having babyfaces sexually assault heels (or the wives/girlfriends/managers of heels) because that perpetuates the culture of predatory behaviour. To clarify, because I think you’ve made an incorrect assumption about my opinion... I am not of the opinion that Vince McMahon isn’t scummy. He’s super scummy. He’s a wrestling promoter. The point where I differ from most (online) is that I think it’s silly to constantly REEEEEE about him for years at max volume every time a wrestler has their name changed, or the show cuts to a different camera angle, or the guy with muscles wins a match, or a wrestler gets fired, or a wrestler doesn’t get fired, or they don’t allow fans to promote other wrestling shows on their TV, or a PPV gets a new sub-title, etc etc.

I remember in a post a while back you said that initially everyone thought wwe needed indie wrestlers and everything would be okay, they brought the work rate horses in and the numbers didn't change. there's a lot of truth to that. wrestling for just wrestling only goes so far. but when you see wwe handling serious wrestling like nxt uk or nxt, that combines high level wrestling with story telling both in ring and out, you wonder why that can't translate to the main product.
