I don’t know if wwe realizes(maybe they do, but don’t care) today is the 5 year anniversary of the epic Bayley vs Sasha Banks match from NXT Takeover Brooklyn. If they did maybe they would have booked Bayley vs Sasha Banks for Summerslam tomorrow for both women’s titles. Let’s face it really one women’s title is enough. How awesome would it have been if it was Bayley vs Sasha Banks to unify the belts to commemorate the 5 year anniversary of that match? Instead Asuka will be facing them both on the same night for some reason.

She’ll probably beat one and that will set up the beginning of dissension. That match deserves real fan attendance. Whenever the hell that will be.

Guaranteed they were shooting for that match live in Boston. They’ve essentially been building this match for years, I’m sure they’re thinking they can wait a while longer until they can have live fans again or Mania next year, whichever comes first. Anything else feels like a waste.

They premiered a WWE Untold episode about the match after Takeover tonight. So I think they realize it.
Very much enjoyed the episode, and that will probably forever be my favorite women’s wrestling match. I was at that show and everything about the match was surreal. The actual match, the crowd, the setting, etc. I was already a fan of both, especially Sasha, but at the time I never thought I’d become so beyond invested in a women’s match.

Have both retain at Summerslam. They lose the tag belts at Payback. At Survivor Series they are in a triple threat with Io that Io wins due to miscommunication. At TLC, Banks loses her belt. Banks wins the Rumble. She then challenges Bayley at Wrestlemania 37(In a row?!).

There was a very good documentary on immediately after TO. So yeah.... they're aware.

Fingers crossed that the WM match they’re probably building to can rival it.

I really don’t want them to feud yet, one of them has to turn and I both think they are doing great work as heels.

Maybe they have a series of matches over a few ppvs that culminates at Wrestlemania. A fatal 4 way with all 4 horsewomen at a Wrestlemania would be great too.

This is one of the worse drawn out feuds/storyline in history. The one time we need wee to drop a story was this 6 months ago.

You would be singing a different tune if Bliss was champ for a year and double champ. This can go to Mania for all I care. Keep it goin. Have Sasha win the rumble. Etc

See that’s thing, with me I have always disliked Sasha immensely and been indifferent to Bayley, but this is the most interest I have had in either one. I still don’t like Sasha but her role as as a heel that is second fiddle to a surprisingly strong heel Bayley, I actually dig the act.

Has nothing to do with Bliss, perfect example is I hated the storyline she had with Nia and it wad dragged out entirely too long itself. The problem is neither of these women are good faces and only Sasha is good as a heel...so if/when a turn happens someone is going to be out of place and it just simply wont have the payoff that it needs to be. Im not saying the match(es) wont be good, Im sure they will but 5 star matches arent what brings in viewers (unless you're Dave Meltzer) pro wrestling always has and always will be about telling a story.

Honestly, I'm sick of seeing these two try-hards, and I'm sick of people still hyping that overrated, botchfest of a match, from five years ago. I had absolutely no interest in that match, and I've no interest in this drawn-out, long-winded "best-friends betrayal story" - nor the match it's building up to. Also, Bayley holding the title hostage for over 300 days, due to this, is a complete joke.

Don't you worry little one, Charlotte is coming back soon, just got to fix those gorgeous boobs (possibly her nose as well) of hers and she is good to go. Patience.

You just implied that Bayley isn’t good as a face or a heel despite being insanely over as both. I think you’re making your argument invalid personally. Their storyline has had the most interest of just about anything going on the last few months. People are loving the story and waiting for the blow off. So waiting till Wrestlemania when crowds might be possible is the right move.
