I haven't seen too much of him in his prime, but he was a great authority figure in SMW.

RIP Bullet!
I first seen him too in SMW. His wife just passed away two months ago too. So my guess would be that Bob probably died of a broken heart. Hopefully him and his wife are together now in wherever our afterlife takes us.

I enjoyed his SMW run as well. You really wanted to see him get his hands on Cornette.

I know this is completely nuts to say now, but when I was 13 years old watching SMW, and Bob Armstrong got removed from his powers and The Bullet in the mask came in to take out Cornette, I legit didn't think it was Bob Armstrong.
Here is Bob, an older man who had the role of commissioner in SMW - who did look older too - and that masked Bullet was in the ring, with a pretty good physique kicking the asses of all of Cornette's men.
To me there just couldn't be any way that Bob Armstrong and The Bullet were the same person Ha ha ha.

yeah, it was crazy how in shape bullet bob appeared even up in middle age, serious arms on the guy

A true legend of wrestling in the south! His stuff with Cornette was very entertaining in SMW.
It’s so sad his wife passed away recently and now him. Roaddog loses both his parents within a short period of time. That’s rough! Also Brad died several years ago.
