I want to set up a display for my BCA figures next, similar to the Hasbros in a detolf most likely. My question is, which figures are most "necessary" to be included and which should be left out, because there are massive amounts of repaints. I was thinking series 1-9, tag teams/managers/2 tuff, ringside, and the exclusives like Yokozuna and Executioner. Who else should be there?

I would put your favorite versions of everyone. For instance 2 Tuff Billy Gunn is alright, but Fully Loaded Billy Gunn is awesome, so I would go with Fully Loaded.

Its really down to personal preference but you would defiantly want the top BCAs sculpts and some of the best exclusives.
Series 1-9 are a must (except the re-releases) since they usually were the top of the line,
Plus guys like Yokozuna, Blue Blazer, LOD, Godfather, D'lo Brown, Luna, Chyna and some of the KB Backlash figures like the trunks Triple H are all top tier BCAs you have to have.
