August 2021 is a long wait. The headscans don't get me H-A-R-D, but I have a feeling the finished product will be great. It’ll be longer than that. Even prior to the pandemic Super-7 missed their shipping windows by months.

NJPW figures are now not shipping till 2021 from shipping date that was suppose to be July, so at this rate Matt and Brian better shut up about those figure toy company figures coming in 2023 because at the rate super7 works that is about the same time there figures will be shipped.

When they get pushed back by months I’m very interested to see if they get the same treatment on the pod that another company who takes a while to produce figures gets. Won’t hold my breath, but I fail to see the difference between the two at the moment.

That’s one of my big stumbling blocks with ordering these. I get these are nice, premium editions but I still have a hard time dropping around $50 per figure.
Given the nature of the preorder is putting the money out now for something next year, that may not even come next year, has me a little apprehensive.

I’m into a lot of different lines, and a lot of import companies and crowdfunding campaigns like Haslab are similar in terms of pre-ordering a figure that you won’t see for months and months. It sucks, but at the same time it’s one of those “play it safe” things where if you think you might want it, it doesn’t hurt to pre-order rather than overpay on the secondary market. The benefit is, in general, if you don’t like your figures, you can resell them and make your money back.

The benefit is, in general, if you don’t like your figures, you can resell them and make your money back. I mainly started ramping up collecting Mattel Elite and Marvel Legends in 2019 and I originally thought it was crazy paying $20 for a figure but I’ve gotten used to it. But it has also grown into me getting AEW, the dying Mattel DC line followed by the new DC line and then random things like “let me grab the entire Original Power Rangers team”. I do appreciate when I order from Ringside and everything is done and ready for. I don’t really see need to go hunting during the pandemic, so I’ve shifted a lot of my orders to RSC. With that being said, starting probably too many figure lines, having some other hobbies on top of bills and everything else, makes me a little more reluctant to drop $100 on two so far out. Had they been more aligned with the other figure lines, I probably would’ve locked them already. Just waffling a little still when I look at all the stuff I have preordered already.

I ended up ordering them from Big Bad. Nothing due up front and easy to cancel if I change my mind after the multiple delays.

Just finally seen these ugly ass things. They are awful for a 45 dollar price point. I wouldnt have bought these two even if they were good, but was hoping that another player in the game could come along and do wrestlers that have never been done before or legends. But those protos look like crap.
And the quality of their MOTU figures are shiny and cheap feeling. Not worth the price.

Like the snake mountain is being sent now and that was funded like 2 years ago?

I'll pass. They look ok but Super 7 needs to ship other things before I preorder new items.
