I am actually ok with AJ warming the shelves. Considering there was a time (a long time) we had to rely on customs for an AJ, I am just happy we have actual official releases of the guy. Plus, I would prefer AJ taking up shelf space than other people we had in the past that took forever to get off like Alberto Del Rio and Sheamus. That’s real perspective. When I got back into collecting it was 2014 and the remnants of 2012-13 was awful. Every BAF set had a Sheamus and or Del Rio, plus main line figures and elites...Brodus ClayS anyone?

There was a time when people were going crazy for network spotlight AJ. They definitely had over produced AJ in Black attire. More over same accessories make it like straight repaint. No too sweet hands is another factor of rotting. They should have given us never give up head band for Aj to keep it fresh. Straight up repaint and same accessories is a problem. There also was a time people were going crazy for his first figure in E47

I remember casually walking into my TRU one day and finding that figure, then going online and seeing people going crazy about not being able to find it. Lol. It’s one of the better figures he’s had too imo. It’s a shame it was pre-face printing. It really is a shame that Mattel has been so uninspired with his releases. There’s no reason for their not to be too sweet in his figures ever since the Finn 2 pack.

I actually really like the figure but plan to get it for about $5 on clearance. @teamfnkick and I had this exact convo about him haunting our hunts though. He hangs alone, representing everybody in that case being cleaned out by someone else...and maybe a case of 78 that followed too. You'll never know and A.J. will never tell.

I really like Elite 77 AJ. I'll never buy him because there is no chance that I'll be able to get the rest of the OC in matching gear.

I'm still behind with AJ - still need E74 and the second top pick, which I haven't got around to buying yet. Why doesn’t it have body halr Because they've finally looked at a reference pic, and realised AJ doesn't have chest hair like that? It's always looked terrible, and hopefully they keep it off future AJ's - because it's spoilt every elite, so far. Chest hair like they put on HBK elites, would've been fine.

I went to TRU to buy the Shinsuke Funko when it came out, and they had the AJ figure. I passed on it, thinking I could just get it at a later time, but man I didn’t understand how things worked yet haha. I got it eventually, but I always kicked myself for passing on it.

I picked up another regular Rude last night at WalMart because it was the robe off version and the funny thing was there was no Blassie or Styles. Just the Rude, Elizabeth, Visera, Rousey and the Fiend figures.

I barely leave the house to look for figs anymore to even notice. But in the past even tho AJ initially warms due to being double packed he eventually gets bought up. Same as Cena and Rey back in the day.

I have most of the Styles elites. E77 is one I like.
My least favorite is E74. Don't love the attire.

Love AJ, but wish they’d stop putting him in black pants in all his elites. It’s pointless to hunt for figures in retail now.

If Mattel were just able to stick Styles hair on right maybe they’d sell. I can’t tell you how many I’ve seen with hair so far back on the head that he basically had an 80s Hogan hairline. Nobody wants that.

I only picked 1 up because of the $13.99 sale & that seemed to move him around here. His top picks along with Balor rot on the peg though.

I necessarily don’t hate the figure I think the elite 77 AJ styles is good Figure I just wish they would have chosen a different outfit

I haven't bought wwe figures in a couple years, but I always check, I noticed my Target allocated 8 pegs for those shampoo bottle figures, that's gotta be discouraging, oh yeah, that and there's nothing but roman reigns and aj styles, I say, "I hope you like roman reigns and aj styles, cause that's all ya got.". You need to be an online shopper nowadays or you miss out on a LOT of figures.
I just noticed how much I miss TRU, the September chill sets in and that's the time you'd roll up to TRU and see some of the newer figures/exclusives coming in.

I actually really like the fig, but at this point I'm waiting until the inevitable super markdown from either Ringside or Amazon to pull the trigger.
