I have no complaints with the design of the figure, accessories, paint apps, etc. But this figure haunts me. Everywhere I go, there he is, taunting me. The only Elite figure on the shelves in many cases. Yesterday, I went to a Target that had SEVEN E77 AJ figures, and one Rude. Nobody else. How is that even possible? What sort of case mix are we looking at here? To make this more of a topic than just a complaint, anybody else have this experience, where there's just one figure warming the pegs at every store in town? I agree. I understand how you feel. Almost everywhere I go, it's wall to wall AJ Styles for WWE and no one else!

Same. I almost bought it when the sale was on, but I missed it by a day. When it scanned 19.99 I handed it to an employee and said thanks but no thanks.

Imagine it's 2016, and someone says to you that in 4 years time, almost every AJ Styles figure would clog shelves all across the US.
You'd say - "So, they don't want none?"
They'd reply - "Yep, yep, yep, yep, yep, yep"

They should’ve just made Fiend 3 per case. He’s the only one from the wave I’ve never seen.

I just wish they’d update his parts. AJ is thick dude and the Bryan mold doesn’t really work for him. It doesn’t work for nearly anyone they give it to! I wish Mattel were so complacent and lazy with all of their stuff

They'd reply - "Yep, yep, yep, yep, yep, yep" I was sooooo excited in 2016 when he signed knowing we'd get a ton of AJ Styles figures. I was not disappointed. Due to the pandemic, I don't go into stores as often as I used to so I don't see the discussed shelf clogging. So it doesn't bother me that much. All his figures are still done beautifully despite there being a ton.

Every time a store finally gets rid of the last of it's AJ figures, the new set with AJ conveniently hits and lingers.

Mattel has over-produced aj styles figures so much that you can't give them away. They are rotting in probably every target, and a lot of walmarts. Every time I check figure hunting videos on youtube he is everywhere.

The thing that is upsetting is they made him in the Summerslam set so that was the only attire they could do for his 2nd heel run instead of a red attire if he wasn’t in the PPV series

Add another vote for "maybe if they only released his non-black attires, he wouldn't have quite as many figures and they'd be more colorful and likely to fly off shelves".

There was a time when people were going crazy for network spotlight AJ. They definitely had over produced AJ in Black attire. More over same accessories make it like straight repaint. No too sweet hands is another factor of rotting. They should have given us never give up head band for Aj to keep it fresh. Straight up repaint and same accessories is a problem.

Yep...Went to Walmart the other day and there were 6 of them, 1 Ronda, and the rest were sold out. There are only so many damn kids who want AJ Styles figures.

I am actually ok with AJ warming the shelves.
Considering there was a time (a long time) we had to rely on customs for an AJ, I am just happy we have actual official releases of the guy.
Plus, I would prefer AJ taking up shelf space than other people we had in the past that took forever to get off like Alberto Del Rio and Sheamus.
