Say what you will about the previous sets, but this is the lamest Top Picks set to date IMO. While none are bad figures (I actually really like them), they’re all rereleases, except for the new Kofi. They could’ve at least changed the color on Roman’s vest and gauntlets to have a green, red, or blue trim instead of the same gold color on E79. I would’ve loved the alternate colors for the Big Dog logo on the vest. I think they should’ve kept Seth Rollins and/or Ricochet in the Top Picks line, simply because they have a lot of different attire choices to pick from. If Rollins was still in this set for example, they could’ve released one of the two attires that didn’t win the fan vote for that one Elite series (Thanos or Survivor Series 2019), The Messiah gear,, or the Quantum Realm attire. Yeah but these sets aren’t really intended for the hardcore collector. They’re supposed to be figures of the most popular talent that first time collectors, parents, grandparents, etc can easily find. You really don’t want to make the lineup that appealing for the collectors and scalpers to go and scoop up. Re-releases are what Top Picks should consist of. |

This is great for those who never found E71 Drew or The Fiend. My only complaint would be that Roman could have used a repaint of his gauntlets and vest. But it is what it is. This set will sell well at retail in my opinion.

Mattel should’ve just changed the belt with Roman to blue. Because if they did everyone would be amazed and buy it. Now it’s the fourth Roman with the red belt (and the same attire as E79?!)

Someone please explain to me why rereleasing figures that are literally on the shelves at the same time as the 2nd release is a good idea. There is no reason to make the last two Roman Reigns elites twice when there are plenty of other attires they could do

The design is just soooooo busy. The True Fx logo. The cutout. The authentic emblem. The last thing your eye goes to is the figure. I collect loose, so maybe this is bothering me more than it should. But that has to be one of the worst figure packaging designs I can recall. |

I'm glad they rotated Kofi into the line, but tan pants and blonde hair? Not exactly what I picture when I think of him or the New Day. That said, at least it's not a straight re-release like Roman.
And I agree with the sentiment that a blue Universal title for Roman would have been nice. I wonder when they're going to get around to doing one...
