Seems like a fun time in here. Not surprised.
Can't wait to find out what some random guy from Poughkeepsie thought about RAW! Personally I thought RAW was pretty decent last night. Better than last weeks. I liked the Underground stuff at first, but now I'm ready to move past it. It should be used more to get Dabba-Kato & Riddick Moss over. Not for the likes Black & Owens. Cedric turning was fantastic. He showed more personality in five minutes of that tag match than he's shown in the past year. Good for him. Cedric vs Apollo, vs Ricochet, vs Ali would have be amazing. Shame about the finish to the 6 man. But I think it was done intentionally because Ivar got hurt. I'm glad Ivar is okay. I heard they thought he had a concussion, so they had him climb a scaffold as concussion protocol. Odd choice. I like Tozawa and Truth, but I'm over the whole 24/7 thing. Get someone new in there or do something different at least. Seems like Retribution has Dijakovic, Mojo, and Yim in it. Still say Bo Dallas should be the leader and play up the camp. Intrigued by Nakamura/Cesaro vs The Profits. Should be good. Not sure I think either IIconic will excel on their own. But to be honest, Kay is just meh in the ring. So at least the right one is getting the push. I like the stuff with Baszler & Nia. I'm no fan of Nia, but this works for her for now. Lana/Natalya = ugh. Glad they're progressing the Andrade/Garza story-line. I like both guys but it's time to take that next step. Lee looked good again. But if they're not adding him to this title match, let him start facing people other than Orton. Drew attacking Orton was good stuff. I'm not ready for Drew to lose the title. Best champion in years. Murphy vs Dominick was fun. But I think they're giving Dom too much too soon. He could have ate the pin and still gave that beat-down. But the beat-down was fun. For me, not for Murphy. |

Raw was ok last night.
The Drew-Orton stuff was good. The three Claymores to equal the three punt kicks was a nice touch.
Keith Lee is a star. His initial block of the RKO was great. It doesn't matter what he wears or what song plays him to the ring, he is just fantastic.
I think they are making the right choice by pushing Peyton over Billie Kay. Peyton seems to be a bit better than Billie, but we'll see.
The Cedric turn was done really well. It is interesting that they are planting some seeds with Shelton not totally trusting Cedric. I'll be curious to see if that goes anywhere.
I'm guessing that the suggestions on here to combine the tag division might be happening. The match next week between the Profits and Cesaro-Nakamura could lead to a winner take all match at the Clash, and that could be a great match.
The main event was really good. They have really thrown Dominik into the deep end of the pool, no question about it. The family beat down was fun, although I don't see Seth's character wanting revenge for Murphy. That wouldn't fit who Seth is portraying right now.

Well how else can we look up pictures of her on the internet and make sure it's not illegal if he didn't tell us, geez!!
But seriously, she is a pretty girl. Thankfully this is one time where her boyfriends don't have to live in fear of her father, since her father is a 5'4" tall man who as smoked himself dumb over the years.

On Raw we had Orton/Lee for the 3th time in two weeks. Four Street Profits vs. Angel Garza & Andrade match since July 20. Garza & Andrade. There have been five singles matches involving them wrestling each other in that period, as well. The third time Mickie James has faced a member of the Lana & Natalya team, or both of them, in less than a month. The sixth match between Ricochet and members of the Hurt Business specifically Bobby Lashley since June 28. The 11th straight match in which Apollo Crews has faced a member of the Hurt Business. Enough of the rematches. And how many shows in a row that have had negative posts by @tang? Sorry, had to before the wolves pounced on it lol |

Personally I thought RAW was pretty decent last night. Better than last weeks. Agreed. This might have been my favourite episode since I started watching again. Still over how repetitive some feuds can be (Street Profits vs Garza/Andrade feels like effing groundhog day) but overall this episode had the best pacing for me yet I think.Shame about the finish to the 6 man. Wrong protocol though, that's the other guys. The protocol here is to slap them in the face and powerbomb them through a table  . I like Tozawa and Truth, but I'm over the whole 24/7 thing. Get someone new in there or do something different at least. Honestly I still find truth so damn hilarious I'm ok if they keep this going. For all the groundhog day storylines, this one still makes me laugh in a new way each and every time. Testament to how damn funny Truth can be. |
