I’d love to think this means new figures for some of these guys but I’m pretty skeptical. How does it benefit WWE to sign Slick or Barbarian to Legends merch deals? We would buy their figures in a heartbeat but the majority of people who buy figures would probably just assume have another Seth Rollins or Kofi.

The naysayers might be right (and probably are), but I'm surprised at how many in this thread think the Legion of Doom and Demolition aren't wrestlers WWE would be interested in.
Maybe I'm biased, but I say they'd have to be crazy to not want them in their stable for figures and shirts and anything else they could potentially sell with their names on them. We're talking about two of the greatest tag teams of all time, aren't we?

Legion of Doom and Demolition would be best for figures and t shirts etc. It would be great to get demolition cleaned up and hall of fame and a documentary or other commentary for documentaries. A bundy figure has never been on the pegs and could benefit from a better likeness. He could even appear on some nostalgia merchandise. Same for one man gang to a degree.

I'd bet against it. I'm sure WwE isn't happy with the people that tried to sue them. Sable sued Vince for 150 mil for sexual harassment. I dont remember the details about it or how the case was resolved. But this was before her 2nd stint in WWE. Vince forgives, if money is involved.

Still blows my mind she sued for sexual harassment and came back to play Vince’s mistress on TV

I love this misconception that’s been spreading that we’re not getting any new wrestlers. Over the last year or so we’ve gotten or will be getting these FTITL legends/FBs: New figures and new legends contracts aren't the same thing. There is still FTITL talent appearing, but with the exception of Chyna and Mr. T, most of the folks you listed have been under a deal for a few years. And I'd argue Mr. T and Chyna both fall in the category of bigger names. Yes, there will always be first time legends appearing. But WWE is not signing the same depth or breadth of talent to new deals that they were circa circa 2012-2016ish. Outside of Jeff Jarrett and Scott Steiner there aren’t any big names left to get. Jarrett we should eventually get if he can get his name and likeness rights back. And Steiner ain’t ever happening. Even if they do go out and sign some new talent they all are gonna be mid card level guys.

Vince does hold grudges. Just look at how he did the macho man. Took so long to get him in the HOF. I guess he was making a point. Dont bang his daughter. We’re still believing this in 2020? I do believe it.

Slick, one man gang, mr fuji, Adam bomb,Barbarian, etc would be great to get. Demolition, bundy etc would be great for new versions. Maybe we can get more rockers releases too. Powers of pain.... I would like to see some in future hall of fame classes too. Marty Jannetty is not getting a figure

Would be nice to have a tag partner for retrofest rockers shawn or another look two pack. Been 10 years or so. Wishful thinking.

I can see WWE approaching some of the bigger names and some of the names approaching WWE themselves. They might also try to sign names solely to keep them under the umbrella and not sign with AEW

I'm excited to have most of these wrestlers signed to legends deal. C'mon 2021!

For those who might not be aware, wwe just launched a brand new official store which only sells legends merch.
Nostalgia sells and if the made figures of bezerker and singles warlord why not powers of pain warlord etc?
There’s loads of hbk, Austin etc merch. People go crazy for the mid carders cos there’s so little about

I love how this is the main takeaway from this topic. Keep in mind the lawsuit was already dismissed in 2018. What was dismissed here was the attempt at an appeal. Seriously guys, really? I love Elite figures too, but just because this lawsuit was dismissed doesn't mean all the living former talents will be lining up to sign for new action figure deals.
