Rock & Roll, Road Warriors, Midnights (Eaton & Condrey), Arn & Tully.
Harlem Heat just miss the cut at 5, Steiners would be 6.

In no order... Midnights(Lane/Eaton) RNR Road Warriors Arn/Tully Steiners almost made it. Strange that the ones you managed are 4th on your list, I guess Jesse was right at Survivor Series 89, there really was "problems in the Heenan Family"... You never got over them losing the belts back to Demolition and then loosing to the Rockers at SNME, did you...

My picks...
Steiner Brothers Hollywood Blondes Sting & Lex Luger The Outsiders
Here is my problem with the Road Warriors. They were not a very good team when it came to holding the tag titles. They won them in late October 1988 I wanna say, and held them till April 1989 where they lost them to a makeshift team of Mike Rotunda and Steve Williams. Nothing against that team, but before that match, Mike was feuding with Steiner for the TV Title and Williams was tagging with Sullivan in the US Tag Title picture.
The fact that the Road Warriors get so much praise is just odd to me. If they were as good as people say they were, the wrestling promotions would have booked them to be unbeatable as champions. When in fact they lost the Tag Titles in every promotion they were in to makeshift tag team of two single guys put together as a team.

I would have thought The Freebirds would have got more love here? You only let me pick four. If it was Hayes/Gordy/Roberts they would be number five or six depending on my mood of the day with the Russians. If it was just the WCW Hayes/Garvin then that would be last on my list. But for NWA/WCW teams after the Russians it would be the Hollywood Blonds and Harlem Heat. As much as I love Sting and him and Luger are usually the champions in my WCW federation on the wwe games I wasn’t really a fan of Sting tagging in the day.

I would have thought The Freebirds would have got more love here? Using the other teams as context, I assumed these were the Garvin/Hayes Freebirds, who were terrible.

Ok, so I was a WWF kid from 89 and I only dabbled a little in WCW during the early 90s when it was on ITV here in the UK so my picks are based on "looking back" rather than my experiences at the time.
Road Warriors Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard The Steiner Brothers Hollywood Blondes
