WFWF PROUDLY PRESENTS
ANIMALIZE
Live from Cardiff International Arena in Cardiff, Wales
The Main Event!
Former Champions Collide
EBR vs. Penny Shannon
The main event scene in WFWF is getting awfully crowded. Former greats keep coming out of the woodwork, and now two are set to clash. It's not every day that two former world champions meet, and when they do, it's a main event anywhere in the world. Possibly other planets too, but they don't have arenas available at the moment.
EBR and Penny Shannon are looking to reclaim their footing at the top of the WFWF. For EBR, he has one big advantage: he's already gotten a match and a win under his belt. And with the cunning and intelligence of a wolf like him, any advantage will be exploited to his benefit. But if anyone can jump right back into victory, it's Penny Shannon. The former champion already has the achievement of knocking off Drakz on her résumé. And she will surely adapt to anything EBR throws at her. She will not be flightless, if need be. Who will stake their claim at the top of WFWF once again? This one can go either way, and it could change the main event scene.
WFWF International Championship Match
Billy Broom vs. Drakz(c)
Drakz had a busy evening at Sonic Boom. The issues with the Deans proved to be just start for him. From there, he had quite the confrontation with Billy Broom. While it was never exactly cordial, things really got out of hand when Drakz decided to bring the janitor's family into it. That was enough to get the pitbull ready to pounce, although they never came to blows . . . yet
WFWF knows an explosive situation when they see one, and was more than happy to see this blow up in the confines of the ring. What's even better is that Drakz' International Championship is on the line, making this The Janitor's first ever shot at gold.
Drakz may have pressed all the right buttons to get Billy mad, but now he has to answer to it. Every dog has his day, and we'll find out if Billy will have his against the double champion and take the home the gold.
WFWF Vanguard Title Match
Johnny Mason (c) vs. Trey Carter
Trey Carter is as proud as a peacock, and with good reason. He was able to avenge his loss to Luke Marshall at Sonic Boom, and now gets his first title shot early on in his WFWF career. And it's safe to say that a title would be pretty fitting around his waist. There is one man standing in his way, though.
Johnny Mason comes into this title defense with a lot to prove. The wolverine is still rabid over the reaction to how he won the WFWF Vanguard Title, and his "gauntlet match" didn't impress anyone (with all apologies to Karate Steve). Defeating Trey Carter will really give him something to crow about, and prove that the title rightfully belongs around his waist. Whoever walks out with the title with have the bragging rights and the gold too.
