I'm happy to see, that Jeff is in WWE and Matt is in AEW.
They are both more than the Hardy Boyz. I'd like to see how both evolve as singles wrestlers then have Jeff go to AEW and then they put them both together into the Hardy Boyz again.

I wonder if Matt’s AEW run so far played into Jeff’s decision to stay with WWE. Matt’s time in AEW has been mediocre at best. I’m sure people will argue that it’s due to the lack of a crowd, but he just seems lost. He’s also had a bad run the last month or so in terms of safety. That spot at the PPV was nasty.

I was excited to see what Matt had to offer although I questioned the signing. happy to see Jeff somehow still killing it in 2020. guy is a real life slinky. I really thought he'd be sabu levels of ed up by this point but the dude still goes. an enigma for sure.

Good for him. Hopefully he cut himself a nice deal that he can ride off into the sunset on. Jeff deserves it, he’s given this company his body since he was 16 years old. For the love of god though please stay sober.

For the love of god though please stay sober. I'm hoping so hard he stays sober and is able to wrap up his career with WWE on his own terms. Part of me is bummed he re-signed. It could have been fun to see him go back to Impact.

He would have never gone to impact, honestly if he didn’t resign with Wwe he would have just gone to AEW and done another Hardys retread, which I honestly don’t think anyone wants to see at this point.

He should have had his contract include a clause to have this be his theme song instead because it's way better and the best theme he's ever had
MISSED OPPORTUNITY

Considering Jeff is my all time favorite, I’m good by this. I’d love to see him get another world title run, but I don’t see that happening anytime soon. As long as he’s staying safe, is happy, and is clean from here on, then that’s all that really matters. I think WWE will get their moneys worth out of him through merch alone.

They should do a pop up feud with RVD. Like two ppvs. When we get crowds back. Ladder match is a must
I’m living in the mid 2000’s in my mind.

Good for Jeff. It's better staying somewhere that's stable and won't kill you rather than a place that's unsafe and un-professional.

Really happy he's staying, at least for a bit longer. Who knows if he's going to hang it up in WWE at the end of this deal, but I for one would be happy.

The contract is for five years.
Edit: PWinsider clarified that the deal is actually for 2 years with an option for a 3rd with options up to five years. So basically if Hardy wants it to be it’s a deal for him to be with Wwe the rest of his career.

The contract is for five years. It'd be fantastic if he stayed healthy and sober that long. I think it goes without saying we're all pulling for him.
