streamable.com/h7n1z7Yikes I love AEW but what were they thinking giving someone with the history of Ivelisse a shot.

Admittedly I can't read the article since you need to be subbed to their patreon it seems, but I'm just gonna come out and say it, if she was a dude this wouldn't be a story. No one cares when dudes throw a few stiff shots for stuff like that. They're doing the tag next week with Ivelisse & Diamante againts Rosa/Shida, and this was taped a week ago, so clearly things are fine or they would have changed course. Also, Sadie Gibbs & Bea Priestly had similar history and it didn't stop them from being roster members. Non issue.

The exchange is pretty easy to spot, during the match.

So, a couple days have passed, and it's safe to say that main event was a great piece of business, eh?
From the people I've talked to, and the podcasts I have heard, it's gotten nothing but praise. I think it really raised both teams' stock.

So...she’s done in AEW, right? Didn't stop Bea and Sadie, why would it stop her I missed Dynamite, so haven't had a chance to watch the match. But Ivelisse had had issues pretty much everywhere she's gone, and has a reputation for shooting on people. I'd definitely put her in a different category from Bea/Sadie, where there was existing heat that boiled over. I'm not a fan of bringing Ivelisse in, and I don't think this will be an isolated incident with her.

Judging by that article they seemed to suggest Rosa was the one being stiffer and shooting first.

guys it's wrestling
sometimes guys don't jive and will work a bit stiff with each other. no one injured anyone or straight up went into a shoot. there were some potatoes.
and I am not just saying this because Ivelisse is one fine piece of ace. I swear. honest. lol

The site I normally use has forwarded that a lot of folks backstage have Rosa's back, saying she is known to work a tad stiff and suggesting any retaliatory strikes was her way of protecting herself and the NWA.

This stuff happens, even good friends get hot at each other in the ring sometimes. And if Ive threw some live rounds and Rosa gave a receipt or two, that's just business. Personally, the little bit of time I spent in the ring, I always preferred people to really lay stuff in. *shrugs*
