Heard that story many many times...& it sounds like Davey was just mouthing off to big himself up in front of the boys to me. No way something like that could be kept quiet for this long.

Shawn being Shawn at that stage of his career/struggle with addiction. I can still clearly picture the projectiles hitting him when he was going back up the ramp. Ultimately I don't think the booking did any favours for the European title but for the product at the time, it was interesting to turn the tables and have the Bulldog lose on home soil.

Let's be honest, Shawn got away with a lot of the stuff he did because he was Vince's Boy-Toy.
No one else (maybe Hogan, though that's a stretch) would've gotten away with the crap Shawn got away with.
