Obviously there's more to a wrestling match than move after move. Wrestlers play to the crowd, do certain moves at certain times, sell body parts, pause, and master the "science" of a match. Training and agents/producers all play a role in the matches we see on TV. Obviously most of us through the years have had matches with our figures or participated in fantasy booking online, but do you yourself think you could "agent" a PPV match main event that could be "signed off on" by Vince McMahon, Bruce Prichard, etc.? Could you agent a match correctly from the comfort of your couch/laptop, or do you think you (or I, or anyone else on this message board) would most likely need formal training and to be a WWE employee to actually correctly agent or "write" a match?

I could book one Gedo style in New Japan pretty easy. His rep is pretty much "hey, 35 minutes, Rainmaker". Wouldn't be hard to pull that off đ. Don't think I'd accomplish much beyond that.

Definitely. Even when I was much younger and had a fig fed I fancied myself as a good booker / agent.

I cannot call myself talented at something I have zero experience in. could I potentially learn the role of an agent over time? maybe, but people who have already spent decades in the big leagues come naturally to that role, hence the retired in ring talents for agents.

For VKM? I think I could swing it. As long as the "sports entertainers" knew how to do frequent headlocks and rest holds.

Of course I could!
"Vince, I have this great idea for Raw tonight. Let's have Roman Reigns and Randy Orton beat everyone on the roster! And then, for the next year we have Randy Orton vs. Roman Reigns at every PPV for the main event, after always them beating everyone up on the roster each week!!"
Vince would clearly love it. I'd be set for life.

Just tell Vince that we'll dump actual feces on people during the entire show. He'd go for it right away! Vince likes poop.

For Vince, I think I could hit a few key points hes looking for in his shows...
- Roman looks really, really strong - RKO out of nowhere - 5 minute womens match - Big Show doing...anything. Crying, laughing, smiling...as long as Big Show is in a prominent spot - Roman looks really, really strong - Michael Cole mentions how Stephanie McMahon created the womenâs revolution - Poop jokes - Baron Corbin segment - McMahon family circle jerk - Roman looks really, really strong - Suplex City

A match? Easily.....Honestly I think anyone with wrestling knowledge and uninterrupted time could write/book a match. The hard part is the story telling long term. Having to write out a months worth of matches & promos for a feud would be much more challenging, especially when someone has to approve everything and once you start heading one direction they can come in and tell you no go the other way.

An actual match? That's what road agents are for. A good storyline or two? Sign me up.

No, unless I could just tell them to go out there and figure it out and they decide whom goes over.

I booked an Indy Fed for 2 years.....nope.
I couldn't deal with the micromanaging Vince does and him changing his mind on the fly. I also like to think 2-3 matches ahead so it had continuity and makes sense.

I've wrestled, so could definitely help/contribute/tell wrestlers how to put a match together. Tying that into production would be a bigger challenge. Coordinating with the camera crew to make sure they catch the important moments. Timing the match to ad breaks. Learning all of Vince McMahon's preferences. Wrestling matches are fairly easy to structure when you know the formula, but WWE has a very specific style.

No. Because I would be booking hardcore evening gown matches. Nobody seems to want evening gown matches anymore
