wmx7 and the night after jump out. austin turns, and the next night rocky gets destroyed in what i was hoping as a 11 year old that it would be rocky's redemption
so in two days we lost the two biggest faces in the company, one from a turn and one from a leave to hollywood that would mark the end of that era of wrestling.

Ok...stuff I seen live at the time on TV..... The Mega Powers split. As a 9 year old I was completely enthralled. Earthquake attacks Hogan LODs debut in WWF UT locks Warrior in the casket Luger slams Yoko( I marked) Michaels turns on Janetty Hogan comes to WCW Vince bids farewell to Savage on Raw Savage debuts on Nitro Hall debut on Nitro Nash debut on Nitro Hogans turn @ BATB96..couldnt believe it....genuinely thought Bret was the 3rd man since he hadn't been seen on TV since WM12Austin 3:16 speech HBK loses his smile.... Goldberg beats Hogan on Nitro DX impersonates Nation & Corporate Team Rock promo vs HHH on first SD! Austin finally turns face to fight the Invasion UTs heel turn on JR with Vince God so much stuff I'm forgetting. so much I'm forgetting Yeah, I remember a lot of friends debating who the third man was going to be. We all thought it was going to be another guy that was recently in the WWF - which actually worked out well since out don't think any of my friends or classmates even thought about Hogan. Bret and Sid were the two I thought it was going to be. Warrior would have been cool too. felt 100% sure it was Bret. Hall & Nash had both been on WWF TV all through April & then on IY: Good Friends... Better Enemies but nobody had seen hide nor hair of Bret since WM12 so I felt certain he was the 3rd man....Ill always remeber watching BATB 96 with such anticipation. I really felt that angle....so f*ckin good lads!!

Since the summer of 2001 when I started watching I’d have to say:
- The Rock challenging Hollywood Hulk Hogan - Eddie Guerrero’s death - Chris Benoit murder/suicide - Edge’s retirement - Ric Flair’s retirement match - Shawn Michaels retiring - The Rock’s return in 2011 - Sting at Survivor Series 2014 - AJ Styles at Royal Rumble 2016

- Sting at Survivor Series 2014 Absolutely brilliant inclusion. Not only was that match great but Stings debut blew my f*ckin socks off in fairness.

I also remember when Paul Orndorff turned on Hulk Hogan on Superstars during the match with Bundy and Studd. It was also the day I saw the first night Cubs game at Wrigley Field, which was suppose to be the second night game but the first one was rained out. lol My father was so upset when they added lights to Wrigley Field. He grew up a Brooklyn Dodgers fan, but became a Cubs fan sometime in the late 70’s - early 80’s. I don’t think he ever went to Chicago but he loved Wrigley Field.

It was so much better before they added the lights. It didn't seem right. Wrigley, and the area, use to be kinda run down and full of bars all around, hell now, they have this huge outdoor area and this expensive as hell hotel across the way, they tore down a McDonalds to put that there, everyone would sneak in burgers, and all the bars are still there and are the best place to hang out at. The park is still the way it use to be only with a lot more LED things lol.
