I recommend his heel run in WCW circa early 90s with Harley as his manager and his WWF Narcissist run. Those were the only times I cared about em. Nailed it. He needed a manager, so he could sit back and be the eye candy. His in ring work was above average, but he looked like a million bucks.

Did you guys hear or read about Bobby Fulton’s son(a wrestling merchandise vendor) forging Lex Luger inscriptions on autographed pics? Didn't he just do that to an Andre pic a day or so ago as well?

Big Luger fan here. Luger in the NWA, feuding with guys like Steamboat and Flair was absolute gold. He got a chance to show what a great worker he was then. He got a great chance to show his charisma as the Narcissist, but Vince absolutely botched his face run big time by not getting it done at Summerslam.
Guy was still massively over til the 94 Rumble and Mania 10, but after he went with Bret Vince had no idea what to do with him.
His 2nd WCW run had some pretty great moments against the NWO, teaming with Sting. His title win against Hogan is a WCW highlight of all time IMO.

There was another wrestling message board I used to frequent where a guy used to point out that Lex Luger had great matches when he wore colored trunks. It was based on some kind of joke Meltzer made. Really silly.
