I know a lot of people are out right now but I can’t believe anyone wants to see Miz in the world title picture these days. I don’t hate Miz but he’s been stale for a long time and is one of the weakest world champ ever imo. His character work is always top notch, and I wanted him to be a top champ when the brand split came back. That's big from a longtime Miz critic as I was. But you can watch his matchwork and see his "safe" style is super limiting. Not big enough to do most power moves, not agile enough to do flips and dives, not skilled enough to be a true technician, and straight brawling just doesn't suit him. Most of his success comes from interference. Fits his gimmick sure, but forces him to be more of a chickensh*t heel than others who are merely written that way. Makes him super one-dimensional.

Come Mania him with the championship defending against Drew or Lee sounds a lot better than another Randy/Drew match or Edge/Randy for the belt

Lol so you don't like Flair's 16 reigns?! on heel Roman - his best work ever, I'm actually now a fan. Some guys are just born heels and THIS Roman is who we always wanted. 6 is an upside down 9 nice.

But not world champion level. One of those guys who would deserve a run for his loyalty and consistency but since he’s already had one I see no reason to give him another. He’s a permanent mid carder to me. And there’s nothing wrong with that.

You hit the nail on head son. I don’t think he could be a credible contender at that level now(if he ever was). Like him facing Fiend last year was a joke. Let him tag, do MizTV, hell give him another run at the IC title. But that’s as far as he should go.

They easily could have had Otis use the case for the tag titles. Would have made total sense.

I'm not gonna be against it if this leads to an Edge-Miz feud, if they want to have the feel-good moment for Edge but want to protect him a bit. It'd take a lot of piece-moving, but I think a feud with Big E down the line would be entertaining as well. Just have to keep it as a short transitional reign, so as not to expose the repetitive gameplan with him.

I was perversely hoping oTiS would be the Universal Champion.
Shame.

Finally got around to watching Roman/Jey and it was incredible, turning the audio up whilst they’re talking in the ring is definitely one of my favourite additions to WWE since COVID. The whole show was pretty damn good tbh.
