The Epic Moments Bobby Fish may be the most accurate head Mattel's ever done. That head is pretty much perfect. the elite 79 one isn’t bad but I consider his epic moments one to be among the best. |

A lot of these choices aren’t even head scans. How they scanning dead people or younger versions of old people? OP asked for best scans, not sculpts.

I took it as the OP just asking about most accurate heads and using "scan" the same as "sculpt". Don't know his intentions, though, and can't speak for them. |

I don’t know about now, but Gentle Giants did an interview in one of the last Tomart, Lee’s or ToyFare magazines where they discuss how they scanned deceased wrestlers. They would make a 3D model using photos of a head/face from all angles and scan that. Now maybe the process has changed as that had to have been at least 10 years ago, but that was how they worked with scanning the deceased and younger eras of wrestlers. |
