Has Vince completely soured on both talents?
Why Aleister had his theme changed & turn heel, I will never know.
Gotta wonder how Triple H sincerely feels about his NXT guys getting the short end of the stick,

Essentially. Dirt was Vince liked Al as a talent but didn't see the appeal and money in the gimmick he was doing. Andrade, he has a tick with guys who don't/can't speak English naturally, makes it hard for 'Murican audiences to establish a connection (allegedly). Though some have contended most of his appeal was tied to Zelina Vega, who was broken off to become a star in her own right.

From what I understand Almas elected to have a surgery and was expected to miss some ring time. Thus why he wasn't drafted and isn't on TV. Dude is crazy talented, but in all honesty I think Garza stole his thunder a bit. A face turn might be the way to go.
Black I don't know. His heel turn was ill advised and now he seems lost in the shuffle. Hopefully they can right this ship and get him back to an upper mid card spot ASAP. If I was Triple H, I would be begging for Black to return to NXT. They need star power, and he's the perfect fit IMO. Plus Black vs Finn is a match I'd love to see.

I will never claim I could creatives job better then they could, but it baffles that there’s so many avenues you can with Aleister and they have explored almost none of them

I'm fine with Black's theme change, and heel turn.
I love 'Root of All Evil', but this new theme suits his heel character more. Plus it sounds like it came straight out of SVR 08.
As for the heel turn, once he starts getting more TV time to showcase it, it could work really well.

Andrade is very talented, had some success on the main roster. His run in NXT before he got called up was what helped to elevate him. He would benefit by going back to NXT a lot of guys down there he could have solid feuds with.
Aleister is a good talent his matches with Murphy were great, but other than that he pretty much has done nothing.

Both are being wasted and should actually be a tag team together.Friends in real life and you could tie in Charlotte & Vega as well and make a four person stable.With how shallow the tag team division are on Smackdown & RAW a team of Andrade & Black would be a nice boost.Just looking on the smackdown side of things you don't have much besides the Street Profits so a feud with them over the titles could be something to help jumpstart the division again.

Once Heyman got the boot from Raw both guys push went south fast. Someone above said Garza stole Andrades thunder and I agree completely. Garza showed tons of charisma while Andrade was made to look very one dimensional when they teamed together. Aleister's current status is disappointing, he for sure should be doing something better but again goes to show the path of most guys called up from NXT, Vince doesn't know what to do with a guy/gal that has buzz once they get there from NXT. There have been way too many folks from NXT that have been ruined that its too long to mention them all.

I think Black needs to go back to NXT straight away. It would be win win....NXT needs somebody & he needs to get out of that shuffle before he's smothered

Black’s situation particularly pisses me off. A dark babyface could be a nice change of pace from the ‘rah rah’ cheesy grin faces that we’re used to (even Drew has become a bit of this, but still has the fire to make it work). The change came from straight out of left field. They could’ve at least given him a run-in with the Fiend, who has been the cause of all of the crazy character 180s over the past year (aside from Black). The worst part of that is that Owens had the run-in with the Fiend and is the only character NOT to change. They should’ve just done it with Black if they were so hell-bent on changing him. I digress.
The thing that bothers me the most is that Black was looking to be on the fast track to the upper mid-card to lower main event. He was protected in NXT, protected in the tag team with Pretty Ricky, and then formally brought to Raw, put into a good series with Cesaro, to an even better series with Murphy which logically led to Rollins, only to randomly turn on KO, and be relegated to about as mid card as you can be, and traded to SD where he’s done nothing. I’m sure he’ll make some sort of splash eventually, but the haphazard heel turn hurt him, as did the loss in the Owens series (which I have to say KO needed to win just as much). It’s way too early to say it’s over for either of these guys, but I fear that Black will end up lower to occasionally middle mid-card. Or they’ll both end up in a tag team, which might work for Andrade, but not for Black.

Its crazy how being called up to Raw or Smackdown is a down grade. NXT was rebooted in order to create new wrestlers to build them up as the main stars for the future.
Vince has taken that idea and just bury any person that comes from NXT. Treating NXT like WCW, and 95% of wrestlers coming from there; branded as an outsider and not worthy.

Guys asked for their release just to be told no or have contract extension put in place just to sit at home doing nothing. The whole company seems like if you go against the grain you'll be made an example of. Even if it costs the company money in some cases. |

It's because Black had a feud with Kevin Owens of all people and Kevin Owens suck. I haven't seen anyone benefit from feuding against Kevin Owens. Even Seth Rollins struggled with him

Two guys who are way too talented to be just sitting on the side lines while trash like retribution and the fiend get tv time every week. Aleister had a great presence about him but they made him some loner guy that hangs out in the dark by himself and cuts promos that make no sense and then gets his eye ripped off and there’s no pay off to it because he’s turns heel and loses every match.
