$200 for the unproduced Playmates "Heroes of Wrestling" Bret Hart prototype.
I've spent more on other wrestling merch (magazine lots, autographs, belts, etc), but I refuse to deal with scalpers of current toys.
My one exception was getting L8 chase Jake Roberts for $35 shipped. I knew I wasn't going to find it easily, and I'm not hunting during this pandemic. That was probably the best deal I'd ever get on it.

Recently bought DM Crow Sting off EBay for £60 which is the most I've ever spent on a wrestling figure. What's your limit lol? Same here, spent $70 on DM Crow Sting, bought it right after I pre-ordered Hollywood Hogan Ultimate Edition. Gonna ultimately pose them together.

$120 for RSE 2000s Brock Lesnar.
Biggest L I’ve ever taken considering it was re-released two months later.

£35 for the Elite Firefly Funhouse.
I'll probably get the Super 7 Myers and Cardona though, so they should raise the record up a little.

$50 for Don Muraco.
I was afraid of another Harley Race situation. Subsequently, it would be the last figure I would ever purchase as I decided to stop collecting. There aren’t elite figures on shelves in my area so it was easy to step away.

The Rock Elite 69 Exclusive. Paid about $50 for it when it was first released. Reason being I was NEVER able to find any exclusives in stores and refused to pay scalper prices. When it was first released I wanted it so bad that I caved and bought it on the bay in fear that I'd never find it and the price would only go up. Little did I know it would be one of the easiest to find exclusives in recent memory. Some people still find it on random walmart shelves to this day. Scalpers can't even sell them for retail online. All in all I have no regrets. It's a decent figure and I could have done far worse.

That was the case for us here in Canada too for the first 5-6 years of Mattel's lifespan. We skipped serieses 7-32 basically.

If I can get it at the right price. Buying old elites off is a fun yet expensive game.

£2500 on a 1/20 Employee Edition Classic Superstars Roddy Piper & £2000 on a 1/100 Ultimate Warrior. Yeah, those stung the bank account.

I spent $29.99 to get Buddy Murphy last Christmas. Most I've spent on a single figure.

I don't remember the exact price but I know it was more than $50 but less than $100. I bought BAF Johnny Ace. It was definitely worth it.
