that wave with Kane in it was one of the best overall BCA waves ever. That wave gave us Dude Love, Patriot, a new HBK, and Taka Michinoku and Pillman

Not relating to the topic of THE first Kane figure, but I remember MY first Kane figure.
Kane was one of my favourites early on and I really wanted a figure of his. So for Christmas 2007 when my family went to my Uncle's house in another town, there were extra presents they had bought for all of us. One of which was for me and it was the No Way Out 2007 Series Kane. Still one of the happiest moments of my life, I was overjoyed to finally have a Kane figure.
It was perfect too, because about a month later when we were down there again, we went to Kmart and they had Adrenaline Series 25. They had Cena/Khali, and I believe 2 Hass/Shelton, but no Kane/MVP. So thankfully they were able to that No Way Out Kane before someone else.
Still have it to this day, in good condition too. Definitely one of my favourite Kane's.

If I’m not mistaken, didn’t they release a double sleeve regular Kane before the single sleeve regular figure? Yep. Fully Loaded Series 1 Kane and 2 Tuff Series 3 Kane (2-Pack with Mankind) were first spotted in stores in mid-to-late January 1999. Superstars Series 8 "Team Corporate" Kane, which was the first regular BCA one-sleeved Kane, started showing up in stores by late May '99.

Yes that first Slammers one. I remember walking into a KB, seeing the set and Kane on the back of the box and being mind blown. He was pretty impossible to find. Finally got it in a grudge match 2 pack with Undertaker. It must have came out around the same time as Slammers because I just remember still being on the hunt for it. I’m pretty sure I owned every subsequent BCA Kane haha.

My very first Kane was a BCA, the King of the Ring one. This was in 2001 and I found it in Woolworths. Later that year my mum pre-ordered the TTL Series 10 one from our local collectable shop, and that was cool. I still have that and Ruthless Aggression 5 MOC. Those are the two definitive Kane figures for me growing up and I keep them as memories of being a kid and my love for Kane. He was the reason I started watching wrestling.

That Kane was such a huge figure back in the day,
Speaking of first Kane figures, does anyone remember how disappointing it was when Jakks released that Ruthless Aggression (7 or 7.5 I think)f first unmasked Kane? It was such a big deal at the time to get that unmasked Kane, but the face on that figure was horrible.

My first Kane was TTL2 but it wasn't till TTL7 Kane that I really liked the lighter red.
Then RA5 Kane out and that one blew me away, I never liked that mask but I had a FS2 Kane and it was an easy head swap. That was my Kane always, had an unmasked Kane but I never used it.

Slammers 2 was a pretty hot wave on the secondary market at the time, on account of having the first figures of both Kane and Dude Love. Series 1 was just already released figures with some added action figure. Series 2 they were really trying to put the rocket on them. 5 of the 6 were "first time in the line". And i dont think Patriot, Dude Love, Pillman or Taka Michinoku ever got regular releases. my memory is fuzzy. But im fairly sure ppl really wanted that first Kane.
