Looking forward to this one, hope they have a healthy mix of legends in their prime (Arn, Tully, Sting, Tazz, etc)

Saw the "sneak peak". This game looks like complete garbage and not close to being finished based on what they showed.

It’s still a few months away from release, we don’t know how far along it is now in the background from the build they showed… but yeah, it’s not looking good. I wonder if it’ll just be shuffled off on digital-only release and forgotten about. |

Honestly, would not be surprised to see this cancelled completely.
God knows what Yukes are doing, it looks like one of those vaporware wrestling games from 20 years ago made by 3 people on spare weekends.

Wasn’t the video game department one of the main reasons it took AEW so long to see a profit? Now they’re going to have to remove Cody Rhodes and some others while adding high profile people who keep entering the company that would greatly benefit the roster. Kenny basically saying it won’t be any match for WWE 2k22 put the idea in my head to expect it to suck. I’d rather just not have it than have something half-assed. They should’ve held off on the video game department for at least 4 years probably. Hell, the action figure quality has already gone down, they should focus on building the brand. AEW clearly has legs, but adding these crazy projects that nobody would’ve expected is just muddying the water. I mean, I don’t think anyone would’ve been all ‘why is there no video game?’ for such a young company.

I’d be fine with them delaying it till late next year but I’m afraid it’s gonna turn into another tna impact where it had all of this hype and then the game got boring after 45 minutes |
