Or..you know...how everyone is constantly lied to and punished for getting over on their own. Glad theyโre getting their money but have zero faith in WWE creative Yeah that whole still being featured on TV every week and making more money than they ever could think is really a bummer. โFeaturedโ you have a wild imagination lol

I loved them when I was first introduced to them. They were booked at Pro Wrestling Revolver in my hometown and booked, I assume, as a favor by Sami Callihan, who owns the promotion. They're all Ohio guys and sort of buddy up all together. They had some insane matches.
I think they had the same effect that Trevor Lee had. Lee worked really, really hard and had incredible matches all of the time, and then he really started getting some buzz and began phoning it in. Its night and day to see a 2015 Trevor Lee match compared to a 2018 Trevor Lee match. He started using the buzz around him to be booked and to be popular rather than what brought him to the dance in the first place, which was his wrestling skill.
Unfortunately, I have noticed this a ton with the Rascalz as well. As their popularity grew, their match performance really went down in my eyes.
They're a group that I just do not picture in NXT. They are really doing a big talent grab right now. Between them, Curt Stallion, and Alex Zayne, they sort of grabbed the top independent talent they could.

Why is it difficult for everyone to understand that not everyone is going to be the "STAR" of the show? Any show needs secondary characters. They should deal with that fact.

I can't imagine what WWE is doing signing more talent. How many disposable low carders do they need?
I also find the argument going on in this thread quite humorous. The Rascalz will make more money than they ever have signing with WWE, but let's not pretend it's not a very real possibility they could sign with WWE, come in hot, trade some wins and losses for a bit and then sit home to collect a check. That sounds like a sweet gig, but also very unfulfilling.
Also, let's not pretend being on TV every week in Impact is an avenue to become a star. Are you even on TV if nobody's watching?
The fact is, if you want to become anywhere near some kind of name, you have to be in WWE. That's also where you get the money. That's also where you lose any kind of control of who you are or what you do or don't do.

No oneโs talking about these guys, only going after or defending the fed...shame.
These guys are talented and could really, really shine in NXT. Iโm happy they were able to sign somewhere.

Wentz is one of the most versatile performers Iโve seen in a while. Dude can do it all in the ring.
The others im a bit more worried about because WWE has a ton of guys that work their style right now.

Really, really looking forward to see Trey in NXT imo the guy can be a star no matter where he ends up. Im not a huge fan of the other guys but I do think they can help with the tag team division. I hate it for Impact I thought Trey could be World Champion there very soon but I'm excited for the matches he can have with Finn,Ciampa,Gargano,Cole etc. I just hope they lose the stoner gimmick not a huge fan of that gimmick.

Dezmond Xavier will be the star... he's the one Vince will get behind - if he's interested in getting behind any of them, that is. Also, didn't know Wentz is married to Kimber Lee.

Hope they can get as much money as they can for all the years of creative misery they are about to endure. WWE doesn't give a **** about tag teams.

They will do very very well in NXT, have great matches, a great couple of years. Beyond that time will tell, hopefully then end up more like New Day, the Bar, and The Street Profits than some other folks.

I actually liked their whole stoner/that 70's show gimmicks in impact because it was entertaining and made them really unique. I'm not saying they need something like that to go far in WWE, but it is going to kind of suck to see it go since they have to abide by the PG rating and family oriented product.
Whatever plans WWE has for them though, I wish them the best.

Interested to see why. Longer deal than the others? Didn't want to go to the fed? Has a deal elsewhere?

That makes sense because in Impact Trey did compete more as the solo guy, but it is sad to see them break up. I can see the two in WWE as good additions to the NXT tag division though. Iโm curious to see where Trey ends up though.
