Slick and the Bolshrleviks. I know he took over for Freddie but the Bolsheviks were not in Slicks typical wheelhouse.

Slick and the Bolshrleviks. I know he took over for Freddie but the Bolsheviks were not in Slicks typical wheelhouse. The strange thing is him disappearing when Boris went solo in 1989 up to 1990. Though Boris was used as a total jobber so I get it. They did an event center promo in early 1989 with Slick still with them. Even stranger is Slick not being with them at Survivor Series 1988 despite him being announced for the intros. Jesse even said "each (heel) team is represented by a manager" which was a mistake since 1) Conquistadors never had a manager and 2) Slick was not at ringisde. I guess they saved him for the main event but Bobby Heenan still went out with teams back to back.

Francine and Tommy Dreamer never seemed right
That only happened because Tommy was nailing her at the time. Tommy had Beulah at home and was doing Francine on the road. What a life!

I always thought that Heenan and Rude were a bit of a mismatch. To me, Rude was fantastic on the mic and really didn’t need a mouthpiece. Ted Dibiase and The Ring Master were another. Again Austin on the mic, even before his rise as Stone Cold. Harvey Wippleman and Sid Justice. Wippleman added nothing. Rude was great with a valet but not so much a manager. One reason I liked his wcw run more. Even though he was managed by Paul E, Medusa was the one always with him. You had this guy who was suppose to be a womanizer and you gave him a smoking hot side piece.
