It’s a Hulk Hogan figure, so I don’t find it to be very good 😝

I’m gonna reserve overall judgement until I have it in hand,. But my reaction towards the images we’ve seen is disappointment.

Not what everyone was hoping for, skin tone seems off, the scans are a bit off unless you have the classes on (maybe its the eyes?), I personally hate the gloves on it. But I still paid $45 for it...
Edit: also hate that the weight belt says "NWO" on it instead of "Hollywood"

I think that at this point, the wait and demand was so high, that it was bound to let people down in some regard. Either way, it's a big need in a lot of collections and symbolizes that more Hogan's are coming. May not be the last ultimate, as we see them going back to the well already with Warrior and HBK.

I think the overall concept was really awesome. The proto looked fantastic. The finalized piece looks a bit weird proportion wise. The reason being is that Mattel used the bottom portion of the Defining Moments. I think if the calves were shorter it’d look better. I’ll have to see more pictures of the figure though. Regardless, I still think this is one of the best Mattel figures of all time. Now, if only Sting could sign a deal once again so they could pump out a couple of Ultimates. I still believe that his best figure was the first Crow DM and even then, it was not as great as it should of been.

A lot of unanswered questions on the Ultimate Edition figure still. I know a lot of people are upset about the weight belt saying "NWO" but I think it's possible it could say "HOLLYWOOD" on the back of the pants underneath the belt. We'll see. Also, wish the Ultimate Edition came with the cross neckless. Glad I have a lot of accessories to complete the figure when it arrives. As I wait for the Ultimate Edition to show up, I've taken my custom Hollywood elite off the shelf. I do however like that my custom isn't so big as the Ultimate Edition appears to be. Hollywood Hogan in 96-97 was more lean, and didn't have a massive Lars Sullivan torso. I'm also worried the Ultimate Edition is going to be as tall as Undertaker or Kane by the looks of the calves and tall boots. And I wish he was tanner, like Rock or Roman skin tone. Again, we'll see how this figure turns out.

I’m worried when Mattel puts Hollywood in the other lines that he will have the same stupid headsculpts. (The mouth open one is the only good one)

Edit: also hate that the weight belt says "NWO" on it instead of "Hollywood" I second that because a lot of people have been requesting a new Hogan attire and/gimmick other than 80s. Like red & yellow tye dye , NWO, and even Mr. America. Even tho it has some con, the pros outweighs it for me.

It doesn't look amazing but it looks good enough and should look really nice next to Warrior UE.

Biggest disappointment ever figure wise in my opinion but perhaps that’s because it was one of the most anticipated. So many things that let the figure down, it should have been one of the best ever but instead it’s almost a reluctant purchase.
Just hope they manage to NAIL a Wrestlemania 7 / winged eagle Hogan and I’ll forgive them.

Paying 35 dollars online on other sites and a little wait for the figure is worth it paying 45 dollars for a mattel figure is like wasting your money.

Like I said in the other thread, it was so overhyped, and 5 years in the making. There was no way that it would live up to expectations. It’s definitely not great, but it’s far from the garbage that most people are making it out to be. I’ll have to see it in hand to judge, but from the photos it’s a 6.5/7 out of 10. It’s about as average as the Fiend from the same series. Also like the Fiend, it kind of ranks low in terms of Ultimates in general. It’s better than the Michaels at least, probably better than the Becky too, and I’d much rather have it than the Nakamura, Rousey, or Balor. I’d say it’s on the level with the HHH, which I also wasn’t super impressed with. Not nearly as good as the Brock, Bret, or Cena.
