Not sure if anyone else has noticed, but it seems that the Elite 79 Taker head is actually the Basic 63 head with True FX and retooled hair. It really goes to show just how much True FX can improve a head, although do wish they would have painted his teeth. Still a great looking figure!

I see it a little in the cheekbones and eyebrows but I mean I could really just be digging hard to try to compare here. It’s really hard to compare anything to that first B63 head unless the second comparison image you put up was actual garbage.

If you look at the eyebrows and the mouth, they seem to be the same. Perhaps they just used the same reference photo, since the goatee is moulded instead of painted.

The best examples of face printing improving figures is Star Wards Black Series. Look at the older figures and compare them to rereleases. Same exact sculpts, but they look a million times better.

The new one has sculpted goatee, the old one doesnt A lot of the newer heads have sculpted facial hair whereas a lot of the older ones were mainly just painted on.

This is why I don't want his first Ultimate edition figure to be from anything past Ministry era. Attire is so boring with just black pants and tank top.

That first one may very well be the worst undertaker scan Mattel has ever done.

When TrueFX debuted we had a lot of naysayers. I wonder how many are left that still like the old style paint. And then I wonder why y'all are lying.
