Babyface Archer? I'm cool with it! I remember his small babyface push in TNA where he was LOVED by the fans as a singles guy. Before getting stuck with that weird guitar hero gimmick. Hope he has that same UMPF to make the fans like him just as much 13-14 years later. all i remember from his tna run is him being the chit with kid kash and like you said, that weird guitar hero thing lol. (god i loved kid kash...) |

This is almost definitely not a Babyface turn for Archer. He just has a grudge with Kingston. His promos on dark the last month have been very much the heel murder Hawk.

The ending of tonight’s episode felt like a rushed NXT go home to set up their annual War Games.
I know this leads to all 7 men in the Battle Royal, but it was strange giving B&B the win and then Archer coming in for the “rescue”.

Archer has been like Brian Cage. They brought them in and acted like they were a big deal. The talked like they were a big deal. And then other than a few blips on the radar AEW's done nothing with them.
If Archer's a good guy now I'm not looking forward to Jake trying to explain why. I don't see an explanation that will work considering it just came out of nowhere.
I thought it was an up and down show. I wasn't a huge fan of Young Bucks Part 2 vs H2O. The Miro video game sh*t just never seems to end. John Silver shouldn't be going 20 minutes with Adam Page, especially when he spends a lot of time goofing around. He's not even taking the match seriously and he's getting the better of Hangman. Bad booking.
Taz choking out Cody was the highlight. I've wanted team Taz to get into a better position, and now with Cody they're definitely there.

At it’s worst, I just scrub to the next match. with vipress, alex gracia, and lady frost lately, dark def has my attention. it's just a matter of making myself sit down to watch it all in full lol. at the very least, i think from this point if they have something/someone on the card that i wanna see, i'll try to check that much out. anything else will just depend on if i wanna devote the time and effort to the full show. but with those three being my main reasoning behind wanting to watch dark currently, i'll continue to echo the sentiment that i'd totally be behind the second show being all women and i'd watch every minute of it, especially moreso than dark. if we had dynamite, an all women's show, then dark going back to it's previous format, i'd certainly watch all three week in and week out. |

God I would love an all women's show.
I've watched dark consistently. Some of the squash matches can be a little dry if the enhancement talent isn't great, but when they get good enhancement guys in its still pretty good. Plus over the last couple months they've been having more and more matches that mean something on dark, and really advancing storylines too.

I've wanted team Taz to get into a better position, and now with Cody they're definitely there. i had big hopes for cage at first. i wanted he and taz to be the current day version of the early 2000's lesnar and heyman, but that quickly dropped off for whatever reason. cage didn't have to talk, taz could've done all of that but they chose not to go that route, which i see/saw as a missed opportunity. starks and hobbs seem to have more going for them than cage at this point, so i'm interested to see where he goes from here. cage holding the ftw belt means absolutely nothing rn and he seems a bit lost in the shuffle, but we'll see where they go with that story from here, i reckon. |

lol the Archer save comes off like they didn't know how to end the show and realized they haven't used him in weeks so they just decided to kill two birds with one stone.
But I love Archer so I don't care.
