I really want a elite Scarlett and elite shotzi i cant almost guarantee that an Elite Shotzi will be part of a BAF, but instead of building a figure, it would be building a mini tank Mattel gave us a car + Braun Strowman figure. They can give us a Shotzi + tank set without having to buy Seth Rollins repaints.

Women’s wrestling has really lost its stigma over the last couple years, especially with the younger generation, and you just know that figure is gonna look unbelievably cool and have lots of appeal to potential buyers

I still have Summerslam Becky basics along with multiples of the Becky/Seth Battle Packs hanging around for months. Everybody knows who Becky is, and NXT has a much smaller audience. I'm thinking NXT + Women's Figure + high price tag vehicle = biggest warming bust in the history of the line.

The Summerslam Elite 77 Elizabeth and Ronda seem to hanging around, yet I never once saw Lacey Evans from the previous series in stores.

You'll find them like one or two times and then never again. At least in my experience.

Never saw Elite 77 in general, have seen Ronda, Lacey, Zelina two pack, Becky/Seth, basic Stephanie. Never saw basic 101 Sarah Logan as much as I searched. Very hit and miss, kind of like the actual screen time the women get on the shows right now.

I have a mighty need for a Shotzi, but I know I won't be happy with a basic.
I can see a basic Bayley in the works, but I have no need to get one
I have to say, I used to be excited for the basic women's FTiL releases. But lately, they've been irredeemably awful. Downright painfully bad. I don't think I've ever seen women's basics this bad before. It started somewhere around the updated Nikki Cross basic and has just gotten worse from there. If these are the only figures we're getting of some of these ladies, the least they could do is put effort into them.

His Basic figures are just everywhere. But, sure, no one would want a figure of a woman with green hair and tattoos who also happens to come with a tank. It'd be different if it was blonde woman #6,472 but I think that the look of Shotzi will help her stand out and if Mattel really nails it then her figure will fly off of shelves. Also, kids (even boys) will want a figure which comes with a freaking TANK. Side note: the NXT series they did as Elites exclusive to Target sold really well here. I rarely saw any of them in stores. So I think the NXT tag + first time figure + her look + a freaking tank = printing money.

Does Mattel not have the headscan technology anymore? Do they just freestyle it with crayons?

Does Mattel not have the headscan technology anymore? Do they just freestyle it with crayons? It's not just Mia. It's all the recent women's basics. I mean, there's something to be said for getting better with subsequent attempts but the Rhea Elite render was shown long before her basic was even confirmed. Surely they could have used the same head and avoided... that. And, you look at Matt Riddle. He had a FTiL basic come out right before his Elite. Different heads and, somehow, the Basic is the better of the two! I don't understand some of this stuff. I look at my Sarah Logan figure, and I have no problem that she's my only Sarah. I would have loved an Elite, yes, but she's still a nice figure. But even though we've been told that there's no updated Elite Nikki Cross in the works, I still can't bring myself to buy her updated Basic. I'll hold onto SANITY Nikki until we can get a new head. Same with updated Sasha and FTiL Rhea. I have no problem buying basics but dang they're making it really hard to stomach some of these.

I'm surprised that Asuka never got a basic

Always gotta be one guy who brings up one figure and thinks that automatically makes a point untrue.

All I did was ask a question relative to the topic. Here is another one: Finn Balor is the NXT champion. My stores have Finn Balor basics hanging all over the pegs, some have been there since March even though we are in the middle of the Christmas shopping season. Do the stores in your area look like that too?

Do the stores in your area look like that too? My Walmarts and Targets have Finn Balor and AJ Styles Basics everywhere. It's a mess. But I think it's largely because the Basics appeal to kids and Finn Balor doesn't really appeal to kids. Plus those two names have had a lot of figures lately and so maybe they should have released different people in the line ups instead of Finn Balor #347. The showertime Rusev was also at Target one week and then gone the next. I never really saw any of the NXT exclusives to Target warm pegs, but I did see most of them in stores at one point so I could have bought them if I wanted but when I went back they were gone. I remember passing up that Elite Austin Aries and then when he got released I thought "I could have at least sold it!" I don't think I ever saw Killian Dane in stores though. I know I saw some of the Sanity members but not all of them. I also remember buying Nikki Cross over on the bay.

Do the stores in your area look like that too? Mine do, I try to check the closest TRU once a week. I go in, say hello to all the AJ and Nakamura figures, the recently received basic 102 set and walk out. For weeks now that is all I see. Got elite 79 recently but no one I collect there.

I have a mighty need for a Shotzi, but I know I won't be happy with a basic. I'd trade a lot of the rest of my (relatively meagre) collection for a well done elite Shotzi. I'll buy a damned basic, but it'll be the only one I ever buy probably. I'm honestly hoping for a dope RSC exclusive with an awesome tank that I can order like 3 of. <3 Helmet is an obvious accessory as well... definitely wouldn't compaln if she came with a "Daddy" choker as well. she's so "toyetic"(I think I'm using that right). Easily the thing in rasslin' figures that I'm most hyped about. She seems to be gaining momentum, this has to be happening soon!
