I liked your concept that the age of the jobber has largely passed and that, like sports, blow outs should be rare. Reba with the weakest shot ever It's not a sport though. In an action movie you make a hero a hero by dispatching bad guys with ease. You have villains that destroy heroes with ease. That's what makes them serious threats. Other heroes/villains are elevated by defeating them. If Batman struggled to take on a car thief, would the Bane need to worry about him? Sacrificial lambs don't have to be a bad thing. that's an interesting take. however, many within the business make no correlation to wrestling and action movies. and it's a sports presentation. I think you can't have non predictable wrestling and also have matches that follow that exact standardized formula forever. that's my take. |

^^ agreed. I totally understand that take but it's like the complete opposite of how I view wrestling. Wrestling has always been a sport with characters to me, not an action movie
