Kinda hoping we get different eras. I'm sure they can do surfer Sting like Jakks did but I want the brown haired Surfer and late WCW Sting. All this on top of a modern one of course. Hope it happens.

I’m with you, start with the modern debut sting, cloth jacket, cloth shirt and bat. Make it exclusive if needed with a winter is coming theme box. Like snow and the name sting like it was in the titantron.

Honestly mattel has made enough for my taste, I'd rather see guys who don't have a figure come first I mean...we’ll get those too lol

At this point the potential for a legends series is there with Sting, Arn, Tully, Taz. Maybe not enough to be it's own series, but mixed in with unrivaled at least.
Not sure about the availability of making Jake/DDP stuff. Sprinkling in a legend in each future wave wouldn't be a bad idea.

There was talk of the RnR Express being signed a few months ago, and Jeremy was publicly reaching out to people on Twitter. They also have a lot of other legends working in some capacity - Tony, JR, Jerry Lynn, Earl Hebner, Jericho. I was a pretty firm believer that legends would need to be mixed in with a main line. But I'm starting to think the second line Jeremy has teased will in face be legends. Sting is obviously a huge anchor talent. I'm still struggling to think of other anchor types who would be available. But Sting is a huge addition.

Ah yeah I completely blanked on the RnR Express too. Would be curious who else they could entice to sign rights for figures.
At this point legends seem inevitable either way. Hopefully at that point production and distribution will have been sorted out.

This list is totally speculative, but just going off of folks who aren't likely under WWE contract, would have rights to their gimmick/name, or have AEW ties: Steiner Bros (arguably the only other anchor-level talent available) LOD/Road Warriors (possibly anchor level - they've always moved merch) Raven King Kong Bundy Demolition Glacier Dean Malenko Terry Funk (Jeremy mistakenly tweeted to a fan account asking if Terry would want to sign a deal, and I think his WWE deal has expired) Beyond that? Jeremy knows who Mattel hasn't made and who collectors have asked for. I could see the Midnight Express, One Man Gang, Rick Martel, notable ECW alums - Sabu, Shane Douglas, Chris Candido, Al Snow, etc, and even some classic deep cuts like Nick Bockwinkle. Maybe they'd even be willing to make someone like Marty Jannetty or Sunny that Mattel won't consider. AFA also mentioned that we won't see the Von Erichs in the WWE line any time soon - not sure if that implies they signed elsewhere, there's bad blood, or it has something to do with Kevin's involvement with MLW.

That's quite a list there of potentials. Steiner bros would be stellar to see. I'm a Raven mark so seeing a fresh new Raven figure would be great.
Definitely a legends potential line with ideas like those if Jeremy can lock down deals for them.

I’m wondering how fast Jazwares can streamline a figure to capitalize off the debut hype? I know not for a while but I’m curious how fast compared to Mattel.

I think their biggest barrier is the small parts library. Maybe you can do a debut look on a generic buck with tshirt, bat, and jacket. But a classic Sting would need a new torso mold - either a singlet or more ripped torso - and larger arms. Maybe they have newer parts that we haven't seen already in production. But I'm perfectly content to wait. Once they start, we'll be seeing plenty of Sting.

A taz figure is a must have.

Man Sting is one thing, but if I can get a Sabu or Raven AEW style figure that would be AMAZING. My AEW figure fed has a hardcore title, so anybody of that nature would blow my mind!

Douglas, Raven, Justin Credible, and Lance Storm are all top-10 wants for me. And it's just fantasy booking at this point, but I'm curious to see if the AEW partnerships with NWA and Impact might translate to merch in some capacity. Imagine if Jazwares was able to include the NWA Title. The Jazwares launch has had more than its fair share of faults. But I really like that both Jazwares and AEW are willing to totally think outside the box. It should make for some really cool opportunities for collectors.

I don’t know which sting I want more, Surfer Sting or Crow Sting! But now I totally agree that they have to do a legends line now. Just thinking of all the possibilities makes me want it more. I have two top wants, Jerry Lynn and if possible Haystacks Calhoun.

Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan I want a good Jerry Lynn figure badly and since he's an agent, he would probably be one of the first names considered if they did a legends line.

I picked the toybiz TNA NWA title for my aew figs and it fits perfectly! At very least we may get a tazz and jerry Lynn which would be welcome additions to the roster!

I haven’t bought any of the AEW figures because I’m just losing interest in collecting lately. However, I hope when they do release some Stings that they’ll go all out and give him unique molds. Sting had quite a few different looks even CROW WISE.
