The Blood Brothers set is holding up the series two full sets from shipping.
Hear me out.
It seems that all of the recent posts about series two shipping are for single/multiple figures, but not a full set. I also haven't seen posts about anyone receiving a Dustin figure outside of the first few who were lucky enough to get their full sets.
Did Jazwares take the Dustin figures and repaint/package them for the Blood Brothers set instead of sending them to RSC to fulfill pre-orders for series 2?
Maybe I'm wrong, and I do love my Blood Brothers set, but this makes sense to me.

From what I’ve gathered, no. Blood Brothers was manufactured at the new factory whereas the initial series 2 was not. It’s possible that Blood Brothers delayed the new factory manufacturing series 2, but that depends upon exact timelines (Jeremy said they were looking to expand to an additional factory after the series 1 issues, it wasn’t until after the series 2 issues that he said they were moving from one factory to the other. Blood Brothers could have already been in production at the new factory before the decision to move the remaining series 2 and the international reissue of series 1 was made)

It's really important to remember that Mattel owns their own factories and has more control from soup to nuts. Jazwares is essentially leasing time at a factory alongside probably hundreds of other products. That also means they probably aren't going to have as much flexibility. The figures will come when they come. Fingers crossed that is soon.
