I have many issues with modern wrestling but none more so than the wrestlers themselves. They are all too self aware, too worried about coming off cool. It’s like they are embarrassed to be doing what they are doing. I think social media has ruined a lot of entertainment, including wrestling. Guys like Macho Man, Undertaker, etc weren’t on their twitters every night, reading fans tweets, telling them how silly/cringe they just came off. Stone Cold would have stopped wearing those silly daisy dukes after just one trip onto Facebook. They just did their thing and made it unique to them. Now it’s all about playing it safe for the sake of ones ego.
Only characters now are arrogant person, always angry for some reason person, too cool to be doing this right now person, points out how dumb you are person, wacky cool life of the party person and silly goof person. Those are the only “safe” characters to play in the social media/critic era and it’s boring as all hell. I want social outliers who couldn’t give a damn what the mainstream thinks and will give me something unique.

I reached that point from 2003 to 2015, then again around 2018 after giving it 3 good years. And some of that was good, but 90% wasn't. So yeah, I don't watch.

I'm down to Elites from the early 2000's and 1st time in the line talent I enjoyed in the indies.
At this point it's like Trevor Lee (I legit don't know his WWE name), Seven, Devlin, Keith Lee, and Thatcher left. There's probably more, but it's not many.

I used to watch religiously but as a lot as other have mentioned, the product has became super stale at the moment. The 50/50 booking is really holding the storylines back and the fact that there aren’t any fans present (in human form, not a screen) makes it really difficult to watch.
I still enjoy watching old PPVS from the 90s and some from the 00s but I don’t think I’ve watched a full show of the current product since the beginning of the pandemic.
As far as figures go it’s mostly legends for me unless it’s someone from the current roster I’ve watched for years (AJ, Samoa Joe, Rollins and Jericho until he left for AEW)

I'll also add that they're too safe physically in the ring. I get we're more aware of concussions, and no one should be permanently harmed by any means, but they're so gentle most of the time and try so hard (and fail) to choreograph everything it's like watching an amateur ballet. I look at it like other tough sports: if you want to play, you have to be willing to get hurt. But most wrestlers now seem like they just want to be stars who are rich and famous instead of actual wrestlers. It's so different from what I grew up on it's difficult to watch.

I haven't watched it since the pandemic. They remind me to much of wcw in 2000 when the story line changed weekly. I only buy legends now.

I haven’t been able to get into any modern wrestling at all. AEW comes close for me, but certainly not WWE.
I only purchase Legends from the Hasbro era, but do respect and appreciate the artistry Mattel puts out there with their current and legends figures.

I've been watching WWF/WWE since the late 80's, but I only really watch Smackdown these days (I'm really liking the stuff with Roman). RAW has become quite stale and it's just too long... I usually watch the highlights or skim through it in less than an hour. I do think the pandemic and things like the lack of crowds and natural noise and reactions has really hurt the product though... I'm looking forward to their eventual return.
Collecting-wise, I mainly just collect the Ultimate Edition figures and various Flashbacks/Legends now.

For me, WWE has been too boring and predictable for years. Ever since the beginning of the PG era it just cannot hold my attention. There will be a few wrestlers I like here and there and thats about it.

I think when it comes to collecting figures from WWE toylines most do so to reflect on the product itself instead of just enjoying the figures for what they are, toys. I still play with my figures and make the most of it using my imagination. I dont need WWE creative to book my shows.

I was steadily losing interest since 2nd half of 2017. I reached a screeching halt with the Seth vs. Fiend HIAC. That was the exact moment (which was followed by countless bad decisions) that rubbed me the wrong way one too many times.
I love keeping up with the Mattel figures though. Always like seeing what kind of product they churn out for the modern guys despite not being able to relate.
I will stick to collectin 2001-2016-ish figures that catch my eye. That new Balor is mighty nice though even though I don't watch lol.

I don’t watch as much weekly but I still watch any PPV on the network.
Figure wise, it just depends. Most likely I’ll always get a first time in the line figure, especially with a female elite. Or a different outfit of someone I don’t have.
The legends are hit and miss for me. Nostalgia only goes so far (I’m talking old school like blassie, monsoon, graham) but knowing how hard (or how much extra years later) they will be to find, I grab those too.
